The Examination for Lieutenant - year zero.



The bar was crowded, and the Ferengi was talking fast, and Harry was 
close to buying whatever it was - when suddenly Paris was at his side, 
saying, "Harry, Harry, Harry, didn't they tell you about Ferengi at the 
Academy?"

Quark watched him go, shaking his head sadly. Rom sidled up to him.

"What's the matter, brother?"

"I must be losing my touch." Quark faced his brother. "Are my lobes 
shrinking?"

"What were you trying to sell him?"

"A Lieutenant's commission in the Ferengi Navy."

"Oh well," Rom shrugged. "Some people just don't know a good deal when 
they see one."
