"Torres to Paris. Dinner, 1900, remember?"

"I'll be along in a minute, B'Elanna. I'm just telling Naomi a story."

She listened over the open commlink.

"And so Captain Picard went back to the Enterprise, and the twelve-
tentacled serpent babies never got lost again."

As Naomi drifted off to sleep, Tom arrived at B'Elanna's quarters. And 
after dinner, she looked across the table with a soft glow in her eyes.

"Tom?"

"Yes?"

"Tell me a story too."
