When Did You Last See Your Father?


It was nineteen years ago - my first hunt. One moment we were Hunters, 
the next, Prey. They discarded me, discarded our trophies - the 
ultimate indignity! - but kept my father. Since then, I have Hunted 
his captors.

A year ago, I first heard of these strange Humans, neither Hirogen nor 
Prey. Seven days ago, they sent my father back to me.

I barely knew him at first; quiet, withdrawn, almost defeated. But he 
gave me a starting point - Norcadia - and a name - Penk. And I asked 
his help, and gave him... his pride.

At last, my father will lead my Hunt.
