"Ensign Paris, may I request your expert opinion?"

"Sure, Seven. What about? Piloting? Medicine? Warp field theory?"

"Twentieth century popular culture. I have been researching my 
ancestors further. It appears that three of them formed a musical 
ensemble, named after my human surname."

"Hanson? Never heard of them."

"Nevertheless, I require a translation of their lyrics."

"What language?"

"English, so far as I can tell. However, there are certain 
unfamiliar words."

"Okay, run them by me."

"Very well. What is meant by 'Mmmbop, ba duba dop ba du bop'?"

Tom grimaced. "Seven, if you have to ask, you'll never understand."
