Searching for relatives!!!
Hi everybody!
My name is Sarah Jenny Haerder and I`m 15 years old.
I live in a little village in Lower Saxony (Germany). My great-grand father Karl Schauer died in 1988 with the age of 85 years.
He left behind a son (62 years old now) and a stepdaughter.
This stepdaughter is my grandmother.
So my great-grand father was in fact my stepgreat-grand father.
I`m searching for the relatives of my ancestors, who went from Liedtkesfelde (near Tuchola,West Prussia) to America before or during the 1st World War.
I`m interested in discovering any relatives, because my great-grand father often told us, that his uncle went to Toronto or Chicago and he never got any message from them. So I am not sure, where they have gone to, or where they (or their descendants) are staying now.
It would be very interesting and gratifying for us to get to now something about our relatives.
So I went online and got into the ICQ network and on bigfoot.com, searching for people in America called Schauer as my great-grand father and his uncle were named as well.
So if you have any ancestors, who came from Germany to America at once I would be happy to hear from you.

Now I`m trying to built up a familytree to see, who is related with who.
