This pic took WAY too fucking long to color.  The reason being that Windows decided to Blue Screen of Death me before I could save all my coloring.  As a result, I had to re-do Lyra, Janet, and the cave.  And I was pissed.  ROYALLY pissed.  And with good fucking reason.  It takes me forEVER to color this shit in.  I may go back to doing b&w chibis for a while.

Anyway, quick rundown on the pic.  First of all, it was Farf who gave me the idea for drawing the pic as well as poses for everyone but myself.  (Thanks Farf.)  Going from left to right, top to bottom...

Mina: Yep, that's me as my avatar (Minako), in my high school letter jacket, minus my conscience aka Artemis.  As this is a Trek-themed pic, I put myself in the TNG uniform (I'm a bigger fan of TNG than I am of TOS).  And because the real reason I'm on the TOS-Up list is to post updates to my Chibi Trek page and get feedback for my stuff, I drew myself holding my sketchpad and a pencil. 

Farfalla: Farf insists her avatar isn't a butterfly girl, it's really a kitten (in a mitten) with butterfly wings.  So, voila.  And she told me to draw her firing sugar cubes from a big piece of sugarcane.  She didn't say why, but then, do I really wanna know?  ;)

Hypatia:  She made me a Chibi Trek banner.  ^^  As to why she's about to hit Farf upside the head with a slide rule, I dunno.  But I *do* understand the evil look, hee hee hee...

Laura Goodwin: The chick who started TOS-Up.  She also interviewed me.  (I feel special.)  She's  into bondage, which I think is pretty cool.  Hence the whip and the outfit.

Janet: Big Coyote (aka S/Mc) fan, hence the coyote tail.  The cave, according to Farf, is her schtick.  I dunno what it means.  I suppose someday I'll find out.  I think her site's called "The Den" or something like that; my memory sucks.

Birgit:  Chick with a chainsaw.  Why does she has a chainsaw?  Good question!  Anywho, Birgit's one of the first people (that I know of) who linked to my Chibi Trek site.  I get a lot hits from her site.

Lyra: Coyote fan, which is why she's chained outside the cave.  I don't know her, so I'm going by Farf's recommendation to put her in SCUBA gear.

Saavant:  Likes Saavik, hence the movie uniform.  She also has something to do with linguistics, which is why she's got the little Uhura comm thing in her ear.

If any of the people pictured/mentioned want me to change something about what I wrote about them, feel free to tell me.  I'll edit.

On another note, this was *not* a request, this was a "hell of it" pic that I got inspired to do.  I'm gonna lay off the chibis for a while (sorry, guys) because there are other serious pics that I need to work on.  But I will do the requested chibis, just at a later date.
