Galant  - SPASTK, SIK10Z, SPA57K

This is my 1976 GD Chrysler Galant. which  I bought it back in November 2001. I have finally nailed the combination and got this car to run a 10.51@124mph. It took a few attempts at getting the right boost/compression ratio, a few cams, but it now makes 388hp at the wheels. Basically, it runs $400 ACL hypereutectic pistons, stock rods, stock crank, unported magna M2 head and standard intake and exhaust manifolds. There are a few exotic bits in the cam and valvetrain, but more for reliability than power. I have spent the money on the fuel system, cooler, turbo and the converter and reaped the rewards!

I have even won a round of OZMOD racing at Jamboree once! I came second in the First Ozmod Andra Championship to Chris Adams in his Datsun 1200 ute.

I'd like to thank www.towie.com, www.castlehillexhaust.com.au and www.sewbiz.com.au. These people are the ones that have helped out the most over the last few years. I'd also like to thank the boys at www.bezerkly.com for the cam and some other work. Dave Flood for the efforts he has put in over the years. And anyone else who I have forgotten.

A few photos of the beast in action.
