How do you rate a film that is almost entirely about cleavage and action? Well I try to look at it like this: This film was not trying to be Citizen Kane, this film was trying to be a summer blockbuster that would attract a lot of people because oif it's action and cleavage. It suceeds at being a mindless good time so on that level I am recomending it.
If you go into this film with the mindset you need to be here simply to have a good time, you will. If you go in with a pretensious little snide and play Mystery Science Theater 3000 with it, you will leave feeling greatly dissapointed.
To be quite frank I will say, Tits, they are unequivocally the main attraction of this feature, and boy do they attract. I am a man, on top of this I am thirteen years old, I am very pleased by breasts, and even more so when the breasts are attached to people who look as good as Cameron Diaz, Drew Barrymore, and to a lesser extent Lucy Liu. This movie flaunts it's characters T&A more than any professional film I've seen since Showgirls. I am both suprised and delighted that the three main actresses agreed to do this film, it isn't often big name actresses will just go out show what they got and have a good time.
Action, this is the other big attraction, some of it is a bit ridiculous (what was with that 10 minute Matrix rip-off scene with Crispin Glover?) and sometimes it is just cool (the break-in scene) But I will tell you there is not an original bone in this 98 minute movie, every single scene is from another film, usually done better, but this is by McG and like the man whose videos he often directs (Puffy) he doesn't try to hide the fact that he is a rip-off artist; he revels in it. And he rips-off with style, which makes it fun.
And fun is to be had by one and all, that is something that no one detractor of this film can deny. All the actors are truly having a good time, all the audience is truly having a good time, and my little mister happy was having one helluva good time. so sit back, relax, turn your brain off and your dick on and you'll be assaulted by a visual melangarie that will leave you well satisfied. I guarantee it.
