"Lynda was a friend and mentor to me. She is the reason I am a pyrographer.
We met at a wood show and she convinced me that even a clumsy, impatient old woman could create something more pleasing than a stick man. She took the time to teach me how to get started and asked nothing in return. That's how Lynda was. Our friendship continued and although we didn't see each other more than five or six times a year, we spoke frequently. On one of the last occasions I saw Lynda, about a year before her death, she spoke wistfully of "retiring" to northern Ontario, where she could be closer to wildlife and farther from civilization. Although she never realized this goal on earth, I would like to think she has found the equivalent wherever her spirit now lives." Brigette Thompson |

l"Lynda was a friend, I wish I had been able to meet her in person,
but we talked on the internet and the phone. She helped me a lot with my animal eyes. I will miss her a lot. Lynda, if you can hear me, we love you and miss you. Say hello to the wolves up there." Hugs...Pat Sherman |

"I didnt know Lynda well, but when I joined the woodburner site she was the first to give me tips on where I was going wrong...this was taken on board and I aim to improve as much as I can.. I miss her input and I miss her works... such a loss to all concerned ." Dave Grehan |

"Lynda inspired me with her work. The beauty of her wolves was so amazing. I could not wait to get her DVD Lobo set. Unfortunately I have absolutely NO artistic talent, but I watched the DVD set over and over again. Then I would email Lynda with all of my questions and she would patiently get me the answers. I have several partially completed Lobos and I have printed all of Lynda's tips she sent me so I hope to soon complete a worthy Lobo burn." Michele M. Burke |
