"Diving" is a the latest effort from 4 Strings! This German edition has all of the mixes and video! Yet another commerical crossover masterpiece with haunting flawless female vocals and simplistic but effective keyboards! The Radio Vocal Mix, Minimalistix Mix-adds a few new keyboards, most notabley a very nice bass rift and blippy synth, Original Mix, Cosmic Gate Remix-manintains much of the original sound with a harder pulsey Cosmic Gate feel, and Hiver and Hammer's Different Gear Mix-lose the vocals, pump up the beats and go all throbbing trance, plenty of spooky and driving effects, I love Hiver and Hammer!
Lasgo return with another hot commerical trancer! "Alone" is the latest release from the Scandinavian group that is tearing up the floors and charts around the world. This cd features three mixes. The Original Extended Mix is full of pop energy and perfect for any crowd-VERY commercially safe with lots of sing-a-long-vocals! DJ Shog turns up the tempo a bit and makes the track a little more solid for the trance heads, and Hiver and Hammer drop the vocals and take the track in harder trance direction with some nice electrobreaks in the middle! HOT!
Art of Trance delievers big piece of music with "Love Washes Over Me." This vocorder filtered masterpiece sounds a little like of the vocalist from The Cranberries crossed with Jan Johnston. The Pheric Remix Edit is lovely and filled with ALL of the right elements-it has a very errie quality! Airwave continues that same theme with a beautiful twinkly spacey etheral mix and the Original mix is a little slower and synthy with Art of Trance's standard style!
It's all about this release! "Two Months Off" from Underworld is our fave track in a long time! Super catchy dance loops move this track with haunting male vocals adding some great atmosphere! Even with Darren Emerson gone, this is the best Underworld track to date! The lyrics are catchy and clever! The cd features Radio Edit, KIng Unique Sunspots-Vocal Mix adds a great drum beat and drops the tempo down but maintains aspects of the loop for a perfect remix! "Headset" is the extra track!
Deep Sensation return on the Junior label with "Stay A While." This is one massive afterhours house track! Plenty of deep bass and sophisticated keyboards load this baby up with a laid back groove that is sure to please! The vocals are whispery and gorgeous! This is one primo track for the chill house crowd! This vinyl has two mixes, Original and Dub!
Danny Sullivan and Kemist present "Snake Charmer." Hooj drops another killer deep house chill cut on us with this release! As the name would suggest there is a hint of a middle eastern feel to this track. The cd includes; Original Cut-plenty of bongos and laid back keyboards, Hand Polished Remix-very minimal and jazzy with no house beats, Lee Combs Remix-very afterhours with that extra ambient Combs thang, Uhuru Beats Remix-turns up the bongs and drums in the mix! Not a peak hour track but well produced for the Hooj lovin' chill crowd!
