“Ash, listen, do you hear that?” Brock asked. Ash stood still, grinning childishly, he nodded.
“It’s a pokemon.” He replied. Misty stopped walking next to him and put her hands on his shoulders.
“I hope it’s not a b ..bug pokemon.” She said. Togepi had fallen asleep, so now she was in Misty’s backpack. Ash ignored his flip- flopping stomach.
“Pikachu, go check the bushes.” He whispered to his electric friend.
“Pi Pikapi.” (Sure Ash) He said, hopping off Ash’s shoulder onto the ground. He hopped over to a nearby bushed and sniffed it. Pikachu grinned.
“Pika!” (In here!) He said happily, pointing to it. Ash smiled.
“Okay, give it a tiny shock to scare it out.” He commanded. Pikachu nodded and sent a miniscule jolt of electricity at the hiding pokemon.
“Montop!” It cried, jumping out of the bush, and straight at Misty. It latched onto her shoulder.
“Ahhhuh!” Misty cried, falling to her knees. The hitmontop tried to spin, but had not let go of her shoulder. Misty screamed in pain.
“KA CUUUUUU!” Pikachu cried, shocking the pokemon. It fell of, having fainted from the intensity of the shock.
“Brock, go to the nearest hospital, now!” Ash cried, dropping to his knees next to Misty. He tore off a strip of fabric from his shirt.
“Pikachu, go find the nearest river, get this wet.” He said, handing Pikachu the cloth.
“Pika.” (Yessir.) Pikachu replied, running off with the fabric held tight in his teeth.
“Hang on Misty.” He said, turning to her injured shoulder. He groaned. Hardly any flesh was left, most of her shoulder was now covered in steamy blood. Her shirt was in pieces.
“Pikaaa.” (Got iiit!) Pikachu cried, arriving with a sopping wet piece of fabric.
“Good Job Pikachu.” Ash said, taking the cloth. He turned to Misty, who was clinging to concoiusness. He began to remove the remains of fabric that clung to her shoulder.
“Ow.”
“Sorry.”
“Ow.”
“Sorry.” He said softly, every time she said. ‘Ow.’ Until her shoulder was wrapped completely. He picked her up.
“I bet Brock is flirting with the receptionist.” He said, heading towards the direction Brock went in.
