I'm sure that many of you know the story of the 182 in Blink182, but for those of you that don't, it's right here.

The History

Here is the true story of where Blink182 got there band name.  You see, the band was originally called Blink just because Tom likes short verbs. I'm guessing that the reason he likes short verbs is because the word fuck s a short verb.  Early in the bands career, in late 1994 an Irish band also named Blink threatened to sue the band because the Irish band had the name first.  Blink immediately had to change there name to Blink182 and is now known all around the world as Blink182! Yet the 182 has absolutely no significance. See the rumors below although none of them are true (supposedly!).

Weird Rumors on the 182

-Mark weighs about 182 lbs. -182 stands for the number of times Al Pachino said fuck in the movie "Scarface" -The number of times Mark masturbated to a forzen image of the Princess Leia wearing a pink bakini scene in "Star Wars" -The number of times Tom masturbated to a frozen image of the thing at the end of Jabba the Huts tail in "Star Wars" Simply taken from the movie "Turk 182" -By looking at 182 in order a lot you might notice something, see if you can notice it... 1821821821821821821.  It is actually the numbers 18 and 21 repeating itself over and over again.  18 in the U.S.A. is the legal adult age and 21 is the legal drinking age.  Many of Blink182's song have to do with those issues.           That theory was made by ~Nick Wright~
