SEA

The Hellenic Navy is truly the closest defence force to Hellenic hearts all around the world.  It is no secret the Hellenes have been and still are the greatest sailors in the world.  From civil to military shipping, our knowhow of the seas makes us an unbeatable force.  The Hellenic Navy has a man/woman power of 21,000.  The Hellenic Navy comprises of; 10 submarines (with 4 top class German subs being built), 25 principle surface combatants, 15 destroyers, 10 frigates, 50+ military patrol and coastal combatants, 18 mine warfare vessels, 17 amphibious craft, 10 support vessels, plus helicopter naval command.  Our Hellenic lake, the Aegean is most definetely in safe hands.

Submarines

The Hellenic Sub range are the; 209-1100, and 209-1200.  A procurement plan is currently under way with Hellas building modern German subs at the Souda shipyards.

Frigates

The Hellenic Navy has acquired; MEKO 200HNs, Kortenaers, and Knoxs.  The Hellenic Navy also boasts the only Harpoon and Sea Sparrow arsenal onboard her ships in the Meditterrainien.

Patrol and Combatant Vessels

There is a wide variety of these craft.  Most are Hellenic made and designed.  Exceptionally fast.  Transport will also be covered by Hovercraft.
