"Who do you say that I am?"

First of all, I see Jesus as many images and titles. When I first read this quote, I thought of Jesus presenetd as low Christology and about the life of Christ and his teachings. I title for this could be the Lord or the Son of God. I can relate to Jesus' humanity because I suffer, feel emotions, teach others, help others, and love others just as Jesus did as a human. Jesus was persecuted and was convicted of blasphemy just like I am made fun of and persecuted for what is right. I think Jesus' humanity is very important because it is probably less emphasized than Jesus' divinity (even though it is highly emphasized), and we can learn more about his life. I also think it is important because it allows us to read the Gospels (Matthew, Mark, Luke) which further gives us knowledge about Jesus' life and message. Jesus' humanity is also so important because Jesus loved us so much that he was willing to die for us.

Picture above: Jesus cares for the lamb just as I care for other people.

I also see Jesus as high Christology. Titles that fit high Christology are "Son of God" or "Savior". "Savior" may sound like low Christology, but in my opinion, it is low Christology because God sent Jesus through his divine power. The Resurrection serves as a great example of his divinity. With the power of the Holy Spirit, Jesus rose from the dead. Jesus overcame evil and now lives in harmony with God. Also, Jesus' miracles shows that he has divine power given by God.

Another image I see in Jesus is a healer. When I hear that Jesus was a healer, the first thing that comes to mind is the raising of Lazarus. Lazarus had died four days before Jesus came. And with God's power, Jesus rose Lazarus from the dead. Jesus also performed miracles by healing lepers, sinners, and anyone else who had a certain condition. Jesus did this with divine power, so I think that this connects with my second image of Jesus (high Christology) because God gave Jesus the power to heal people.

Another image or title I see in Jesus is one as a Teacher. Jesus proclaimed his message throughout many cities. He traveled from Galilee to Jerusalem and from Nazareth to Capernaum. Jesus taught so many people, and yet he only preached one main message: love one another as I lve you. Jesus taught that people have to realize God in their lives, and follow Him. He taught the Golden Rule, the Ten Commandments, and the Beattitudes. Not only did Jesus teach about God, but he taught the way a good person should live. Jesus taught people how to treat others and that if you have God in your life, He will not abandon you even in times of distress because He has such great love.

Another image I see in Jesus is that of love for others. Jesus loved us so much that he was willing to be a healer and a teacher. He lived with the sinners, the sick, women, and the poor. These were people who were considered outcasts in society. But Jesus loved them, cared for them, and "hung out" with them all the time. Jesus felt comfortable around them because in a sense, he was like them. Jesus tried to reach out to the others, but most of them rejected him and his teachings. Even many outcasts rejected Jesus. However, Jesus had faith in God.
