Congratulations to RevSolutions, winner of the 2007 Champions League! RevSolutions edged Dynamo Silver Spring 20-19 in the final. RevSolutions now shift their focus to winning the overall MFLS title with a 20 point cushion going into the final week of the season. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Eighteen divisions registered for the 2007 Champions League. At the close of week 17, seventeen division leaders were awarded automatic berths, while fifteen other teams earned at-large spots. Group round tables and schedules are now available. Rules for this year's tournament are also available along with a list of participating divisions and their champions. Eleven teams are returning from last season's CL, including cup holder Heresy House who hopes to be the first to repeat as the Champions League winner. Fifteen teams have made CL appearances before, while seventeen teams will make their Champions League debut. Other notable returning teams include: Hotspur (making his 4th consecutive appearance in the CL - longest current streak); Shaolin Mystigods, Stonebury United & Glory Daze (all appearing for a 3rd consecutive time); Top Shelf, Alpine Dream & FC Chunkers (appearing in 3 of the last 4 CLs). Chunkers (2004), Heresy House (2006) and Dynamo Silver Spring (2003) are all former Champions League winners. The most notable teams who did not qualify include: New Bedford Knights (2005 CL winner who will miss the CL for the first time since 2003), Wierder Bremen (also missing the CL for the first time since 2003) & Aviators (appeared in 3 of the previous 4 CLs).
