June 2006 - Daisy at the White House
During her recent trip to Washington DC, Daisy was able to get a super secret tour of the White House.  She wasn't able to take photos inside, but she did also see the Oval Office and the Cabinet Room.  She toured the West Wing, or the Executive Wing.  Clearly she has friends in high places!
<< Daisy outside the entrance to the Executive Wing.  If you have an appointment to see the President, you'd enter in through here. In the waiting area is the famous "Washington Crossing the Delaware" painting.
Daisy just outside the Cabinet Room. At the end of the covered walkway, is the Oval Office.
Daisy in the Rose Garden. The windows behind her are the Cabinet Room.
Daisy in the front of the White House. The small white awning on the low building is the entrance to the Press Room.
Daisy outside the entrance to the Executive Wing looking through the trees at the front of the White House.
Daisy at the podium in the White House Press Room.  She practiced saying important things, but is it just me or does she seem to have a smirk on her face while she's up there?
In case you ever wondered what the back of the White House Press Room looks like, here it is -- what a mess! >>
