| Opening | Call to Order (raising right hand
above head, waiting until all girls do the same).
Welcoming Song (Where is _____.) Girl Scout Promise. Out troop Song (I‘m a Little Daisy) |
| Sharing | Talk about what we will be doing this
year, field trips, how we earn petals, community service
projects. Explain snack time (I provide cups, plates,
napkins and juice) Daisy is to host a snack time. Explain
the sign for call to order. Talk about Girl Scout Law.
Explain Helpers. |
| Program Activity 1 | Miss Gina will instruct the girls on
Making Friends. A paper doll Activity. Each child is
given a doll and must select clothes, hair, shoes, etc.
We will also be sending a project away to another troop
to swap with. Will make two. One from paper dolls, the other we will color for scrapbooks Fill in Pen pal sheet (have parent or assist help)

| Explore Time | Go on hike for leaves around neighborhood. Check out changing colors. |
| Program Activity 2 | Scrapbook making. Miss Gina will explain why we are making scrapbooks and will talk about the investiture that is coming up. Will ask the girls for idea’s on what they would like to do and what invitation idea’s they may have. Will vote if need be. Petal fronts, Daisy center with Pic of child. (for cover of scrapbook) Make first swaps, pen pals, postcards. Beaded Daisy Girl Scout. (Supplies: White pipe cleaners, large wooden beads, tiny googly eyes, blue beads, medium size safety pins.) |
| Clean Up | Teach Clean up Song Remember, a Girl Scout always leaves a place in better condition then when she found it. |
| Closing | Tell girls about mascot and swaps. Girl Scout Squeeze two times, happy thought. Sing our Troop Song and recite the girl scout promise. |
