I printed this on my printer and cut it down to fit the first few pages of Angel Bear's journal. I ask the leader of the hosting troop to please read this to the girls before bringing Angel out of her box. The kids love it.

I am soooooooooooooo excited to finally be with my host troop!

Hello, hello, hello, I am so glad to meet you all. How are you???

I am sooooooo glad to be here! Thank you for inviting me. I know we’re going to have fun, ohhhhh, so much fun together.

I can hardly wait to get started.

But, first,

I have something for you in my travel box.

You’ll also find in my travel box, my journal. The first page will tell you everything about me and my troop back in Montana.

You can use the journal pages to tell my troop about your troop. Don’t forget to write about me too... Everyone can write or draw in my journal. My leader is going to send the journal to all my host troops so everyone can see where I have been.

I am going to be here for awhile, so maybe I can spend time with each of you.
