 It has been a very long time since I've updated this site. This is primarily because most of my news gets aired at my livejournal. We are in the midst of our seventh year living here in Florida. It is a particularly warm winter, which is nice. It is scheduled to remain in the 70s at least through Dec.22nd. That's as far ahead as I've seen the forecast, but it gives me hope that the weather will be fine while our families are in town the week after Christmas. Our dog, Molly continues to be a source of entertainment for both of us. This year we've painted her toenails in preparation for company at Christmas. I can't find her collar jingle bell, though. Lynn left Disney this year, and is now working for ProSound, an audio consulting and design company in Orlando. It has been very different having him work so late during the week but be home on the weekends. We are slowly getting used to it. Just prior to that job change, Lynn was injured while building speakers in our driveway on one of his days off. His wound has been healing nicely, but still gives him grief once in a while. He hides it well. Mostly he seems upset that the speaker will have to be redesigned. I am still working at CMC, an office supply distributorship in Lakeland. I have had three job titles here in the 2.5 years I've been here. I started as a Marketing Assistant (read: glorified secretary), moved on to become the Sales Service & IT Manager, and am now considered the Marketing & IT Manager. None of those titles really encompassed everything I do at CMC, but I like the most recent the best anyway. As the year winds down, we are looking forward to getting together with our families for a Christmas party and some vacation time in Tampa Bay. It should be a lovely way to ring in 2007.
