Family and Person to Person Interactions Terminology

The ending -san is a general term of respect. You would use it when greeting a stranger by tacking it onto their last name, such as Yuy-san. You would use their first name if you were more personal acquaintances, Heero-san. Now, the ending -kun is the male honorific used by people of the same age group or who are close friends. Those in the same age group (or around there) would use the last name, unless permission has been asked otherwise: Maxwell-kun. Close friends add it to the first name: Duo-kun. In private, girls may call each other nickname ending with -chan, or little: Akane-chan. This usually does not apply to guys as most would stomp your face in before being called -chan.

Sensei=master

-sama=ending oozing respect

Ojousan=lady

Otousan (tousan)=father

Okassan (kassan)=mother

Oneechan, oniichan, oneesan, oniisan=older sibling; younger siblings are usually called by their names but will call older brothers, sisters and cousins by this term.

-koi=shortened form of koibito; used to indicate lover (Duo-koi)

Those all the ones I'm pretty sure I've used or you may have come across. If there are any not explained here, please feel free to email me and ask. If I don't know I might be able to find out...
