About The Project
Ahh what to say, well out of all my projects this one is my pride and joy. I have worked on and off this project for many years since I was very young.

I started the level out of my annoyance of all the other Star Trek doom levels out there that used ordinary doom textures and room layouts that didn’t match the shows sets at all. I also had a great passion for creating Doom levels and really enjoyed making visually impressive levels. Unfortunately due to hard drives crashes my past 2 levels are long lost. :( But fortunately because of my obsession with the project a few years back I backed up my Star Trek level and didn’t loose it lol.

This is a total conversion with new sounds, music, textures, sprites and weapons.. No laziness anywhere. All the walls and objects are either hand drawn by myself from watching the show or ripped from actual shots of the show or other Star Trek games. Also some are from some Doom levels I’m found around the net. Credits definitely go to the Aliens Doom mod who’s sprites looks disturbing similar to species 8472 lol and a nifty star trek level called NCC1701E which had a neat collection of Borg sprites and sounds that blew me away.

My goal is to create a wild adventure on the Enterprise D that has you believing you're there (well at least in the boundaries of the ancient Doom engine lol).

Here we are in late 2003 that I’m finally adding this description of my Mod to the site and I can honestly say I have not worked on the project in 2 ½ years mainly due to me getting a girlfriend and some work 2 years ago lol. This saddens me as my knowledge of using the Doom editor and wad tools I have is long forgotten BUT this project was my passion for years and I put so much effort into it and still have many of the plans and ideas I had back then still floating around in my head now so I will resume the project sooner or later. We shall see. ;)
