| Clow Reed was born of both Chinese and English heritage. Within these roots are powerful magic, and are equal in strength. Clow Reed is the creator of the Clow Cards. What does this have to with Eriol? Eriol- Will you get on with it? I'm gettin there. After Clow's death, his spirit was spilt into two. He knew that one person with all this power would be catastrophic. Eriol- Wasn't I smart in my pervious life? --rolls the eyes-- Anyways. The other half belongs to Sakura's father. Who would have known. Eriol- I knew! I knew! --pinches his cheek-- Well aren't you the smart one. Eriol- Tell them about my end of the spilit. Yes, sir! Eriol got all the power and memories of Clow. Now being the smart guy that he is and knowing that he is, too, powerful, goes in search of the new Card Captor, Sakura. When he finds her, her powers are still to weak to help him. Eriol- Yeah! Even after she tamed Yue she still couldn't help me. Eriol ends up challenging her strength and helps her to create the Sakura Clow. Which are the same cards, now pink, and they are at a higher level of magic. Eriol- Now, who's the man? You are. --pinches his cheek, again-- Eriol- Will you stop that?! --smiles-- Now as I said Eriol is very powerful and he knows it. He doesn't want all that power. Eriol wants to repair the error he made in his former life and spilit the powers of Clow, evenly. For this he needs Sakura. Eriol- --grins devilishly-- Since Sakura controls the Clow Cards, she has the power to help Eriol. But not before Eriol tests her in battle. Eriol- --grin gets bigger-- During the battle Keroberus and Yue, in their true forms, come to guard their masster. Ruby Moon and Spinel Sun both stand in their way. This is Rudy Moon's and Spinel Sun's only purpose. Of course, Eriol knew this would happen and that is why he created Ruby Moon and Spinel Sun. Sakura barely makes it out alive. Only her love for Syaoran/Li kept her alive. Eriol- --wipes a fake tear from his eye-- Wasn't that so cute? --smacks him on the back of the head-- Hey! I think they make a cute couple. Eriol- --glares Anyways, Fujitaka/Aiden walks up to Eriol and Sakura after the battle. Sakura spilits Clow's power; and all is good. Neither Eriol nor Fujitaka/Aiden change. --looks at Eriol-- What was the purpose of that? Eriol- --grins and rubs his hands together-- That's for me to know and for you to find out. You know, sometimes you can be a real jerk. After the final battle, they all go back to Eriol's house, where he tells all. Eriol, how's your love life? Eriol- --comes at me with his wand-- --knocks him off the page-- Eriol does have someone special in his life. Mizuki Kaho/Ms. Mackenzie, who is about twice his own age. Eriol- --walks back on the page-- Welcome back. Eriol- --glares-- Okay. Okay. We'll move on. Magic is very vital to the Eriol episodes. Since there are no more Clow Cards to capture, Sakura has to do something else with them. That's when Eriol comes in. He creates different situations that forces Sakura to use them, in turn powering them up. By powering them up she changes them into the Sakura Cards, the pink ones. Eriol- Now this is a subject I can talk about. Did you know that I have all the powers of Clow. Including the ability to see the future and to create beings. Example, Ruby Moon and Spinel Sun. Do you mind? I'm the hostess here. --pushes him off the page again-- Anyways, Eriol still has some control over Yue. Eriol does allow, however, Touya/Tori to give all his powers to Yue so that Yue and Yukito/Julian can co-exist. Welcome back, again? Eriol- Would you stop that? Sure. I'm all done now.
