Week 1 | |||||||||||||
I'd have to say our first week started off somewhat well. We started off by brain storming ideas of how we would create the rovers, and discusssed each teams goals for the oncoming days of building. After the first day we each went our seperate ways and worked on our parts of the rover. Attempting to keep the whole team on task was somewhat troubling while trying to finish all the work required as the PR team. Our progress was occuring but not as fast as I would have liked, and later in the process our progression on the rover was slowed down due to some of our team members not paying complete attention to the task they were assigned. Tensions in our team increased as the days progressed with little ifghts breaking out here and there. After discussing with the said team members and reaching resolutions our team members are starting to work together somewhat better. | |||||||||||||
Week 2 | |||||||||||||
As we worked on our final rover design we discovered many problems with it with less than one week until the day of the mission. Working feverously we work on our rover to fix the problems such as bowing wheels, and bad camera angles. We come to school the next day to find out rover has been broken! At first i thought this was a disaster, and as we started to work on our rover with great conviction we realized the destruction of our rover was truly a guise of great improvement! Our rover was infinitally more efficient than our previous designs, and was much better at the tasks we would ask it to handle. While I was attempting to help fix the rover, many other parts of the projects were getting behind, such as the website and the PR videos, but I beleive I will be able to push though and catch back up. |
