(From Kyle's perspective, at 37 years old: August 24th, 2021)

It's funny how things turn out.

If you tried to tell me things would end up this way, well frankly  I would have thought you were insane. It just kind of happened after Tess left the planet back when we were 17.

Max had discovered (with Liz's help) that Tess had made up the alien pregnancy, so Max let go of any desire to try to go home after that.

I was torn up by Tess' betrayal I mean after all she was the only one I had gotten close to in the group. Poor Isabel was even worse off now that she knew Tess had killed Alex. Her guilt and my feelings of betrayal brought us together, actually. We were each other's comfort all the way through Senior year.

Isabel stuck around and got a job at the local Law Offices as an administrative assistant while taking night classes. The rest of us finished high school, and graduated.

During the end of my Senior year, after spending so much time with Isabel, I fell in love with her. She, on the otherhand, told me she wasn't ready to date yet.

Isabel mourned for a few months longer until she was ready to love again. Finally giving in to me, we began to date. It got serious about 5 months into our Freshman year at Santa Fe State, which me and Isabel attended together.

Maria and Michael went to Las Cruces University together, and Liz and Max ended up at the University of California, San Diego; Liz, to study Biology and Max to major in medicine, Pediatrics to be specific.

Max and Liz were the first to marry, at the age of 20. Michael and Maria tied the knot only 7 months later, and I caught onto the trend, proposing to Isabel at Michael and Maria's reception. We were married the following year, almost exactly a year after Max and Liz's.

After college Liz had become an intern as molecular biologist lab researcher at BioTech in Albuquerque, and Max became a Pediatrician after 6 more years of Medical school and interning at the County Hospital. He is working on opening his own medical offices by next year.

Michael  went into construction, actually the demolition aspect of construction, and Maria has gone into Auto Insurance as a Consultant.

Strangely enough I ended up in Law Enforcement and am now presently Deputy of Roswell County, on my way to Sheriff just like my father and grandfather had been. My father was more surprised I chose to follow in his footsteps then I was, but very pleased. And of course, Isabel ended up as a paralegal at the county law offices.

Now Maria was actually the first to have a child,  followed closely by Liz. Maria had a son, whom she named Charles (after Alex-his middle name). 3 months later Liz had a daughter, named Claudia.

However Claudia was a difficult pregnancy, so after she was born the doctor's told Liz not to expect anymore children. Max and Liz were heartbroken, but were very happy with their daughter.

But to their surprise, just a few years ago (ten years after Cluadia was born), they were blessed with a second daughter, which they rightfully named Destiny. Of course by then Maria had had four more children: Molly and Meghan (twins), Parker, and Nicole.

What about me and Isabel your wondering? Well, About a year after Claudia and Charles, Isabel had gotten pregnant, but miscarried into the 6th week, and we later found out she was unable to have kids. Something was wrong with her uterus.

We were both devostated, but we didn't give up on parenthood altogether. After a few years of waiting on an adoption list, we were given the opportunity to adopt a 4 month old boy, which we decided to name Alexander.

Isabel has never been happier. She gave up her job to be with Alex all day as a stay home mother. I insisted she not give up on her career, but she responded in saying this is what she wanted to do with her life, be a mother.

I've never been so amazed of my beautiful Isabel. She's a wonderful mother and wife, I'm just so thankful for each day we all spend together as a family, its a great feeling.  It's been 8 years since we've gotten Alex, and life hasn't been more fulfilling for any of us. Our kids are growing so quickly, and all of us are still close.

Our kids all play together, and some of the kids have developed powers, while a few have not somehow. Molly and Nicole have not shown signs of any powers, and of course Alex never was considered of having powers, seeing as he wasn't born from alien blood.

But we are all happy, and haven't had any alien related problems for about ten years. We are hoping it stays peaceful like this. Life is great for all of us, it couldn't get any better.

(Kyle's perspective, over 30 yrs later at the age of 68: September 30th, 2051)

These past 30 years have been filled with sorrow and grief, but also gifts of life and learning. My poor Isabel is on her deathbed, to my dismay. She has been in this state for over five months, and still won't let me get her help, because of her secret. I hate that I cannot help her.

The mortal illness she has now was caused by Alex's sudden death this past April, along with my granddaughters Emma and Jennifer. They were all in a car accident on their way home from visiting us here in Roswell. Ironic, I know.

And of course this brought so much painful memories and fresh devostation to Isabel, she just had the life force strained out of her, and has been dying slowly ever since. My darling Isabel still holds on for my sake, but I fear the death of our Alexander is too much for her to take.

Now the past three decades have also been full of sorrow for the rest of our group. When Michael and Maria's daughter Molly was 17, she went to a Dance Club with some friends to celebrate her best friend's birthday.

A guy Molly met there had charmed her, dancing the whole night with just her. While on the dance floor, one of his buddies slipped LGH, a rape drug, into her drink. When she came back to their table and finished off her soda, she became violently ill right away.

She died that night on the way to the hospital, from a bad reaction to the drug she was slipped. The two guys involved were put in jail for 25 years to life. However, last year they were let go, only a few months apart from each other, for good behavior.

About 3 years after that tragedy, Michael died in a demolition accident at work. Max was out of town at a medical conference in Pittsburgh when it happened, and was crushed to find out.

He blamed himself for not being there, but we all consoled Max and convinced him it wasn't his fault. Same old responsible Max, still taking blame for all of us.

Maria was crushed, and didn't talk to anyone at all for almost 18 months after Michael's death. But to get over the pain, Maria decided to move back into the old apartment Michael had lived in back when we were Juniors in high school.

She had moved from their house in El Paso, Texas where they had been the 4 years prior to Michael's death. Her family was what kept her strong; of course, she always was a strong spirited woman.

She is still around today, at age 68 and healthier then ever. Me and her have become close friends, especially considering we are the last of our group alive today, not counting my dying Isabel ....

To Max's great misfortune, Liz was murdered in the aliens' last encounter with their enemy. In April of 2031, Kivar surprised us all by sending his rebels to kidnap and bring back Max and Isabel to him. Kivar wanted to kill Max and Isabel himself.

However Max was much more powerful then usual, and with the aid of Charles, Parker, and my Isabel, they defeated the 5 soldiers Kivar had sent.

Two weeks later Kivar himself decided to come down and make Max pay; so, he tracked down liz and killed her in her laboratory one night where she was working on a project after hours. Max had sensed Liz was in danger but got there too late, and was almost killed in the battle with Kivar, but ended up victorious.

Max was so torn apart, his complexion had paled permanently, and lost that sparkle in his eye he had when he was with Liz. Meanwhile their daughter Claudia was pregnant with her first child, and three weeks after Liz's death, she went into labor.

She had a baby girl, Max's first grandchild. And Claudia was delighted to name her Elizabeth Jane after her mother. Even with this special gift of a grandchild, Max's heart was too hurt over his true love's death.

Somehow he fought through 15 more years, but on the 15th anniversary of Liz's death, Max passed away in his sleep. We all know he died of a broken heart; he was only 62.

All of our group's children had kids themselves recently. Claudia had Elizabeth Jane, like I mentioned earlier, and two more kids after that; David and Isabella (after my wife Isabel, of course.) Destiny has had three healthy sons: Jeff, Phillip, and Maxwell (who was born a month after Max died, so she named her last son after her father.)

Charles is married and has two kids: Leslie and Matthew. Meghan has four beautiful children: Cooper, Hannah, Peter and Justin. Parker has recently divorced, but had a son during the marraige named James. Nicole has just gotten married 5 years ago, and has an 18 mth old girl named Amee, after Maria's mother.

As for Alexander, he had three kids before he died, all of which were in the car with him and his wife when the car accident happened. His wife Samantha and his eldest daughter Rebekah  have survived the crash.

They've moved in with me and Isabel just last month. I think they didn't want me to be alone, fearing the quick approach of Isabel's death, but also because they did not want to be alone either.

I've retired from being Sheriff of Roswell, which I have been for the past 25 years, to spend every waking moment near Isabel. Our family is very close, and I am thankful to have them, each and every day.

And so that is what our groups lifetime has been like, as unthinkable as all this is, that is whats happened. Through all our tragedy, we've still stayed close, and I am happy for every moment spent with these people.

Though I was not close to the aliens back when I was healed by Max and found out about them, I have developed this respect and love for them all. I miss Max, Liz and Michael a lot. But I believe I'll see them again somehow, someday, because our bond is so close and special.

I'll never forget what these aliens have taught me. Especially my loving Isabel. I owe my life to these aliens, both Max and Isabel.  I've never regretted a day I spent with Isabel, and will cherish the few days I have left.

Who knows what the future holds for the ones who are still around. But whatever it is, I am ready.
