Search and Rescue Training
Course Overview
This course is designed to assist police agencies, search and rescue teams and search coordinators in conducting a search for a missing person.  This course will take the officer through a search from start to finish, covering everything from first notification to completion.  It will help you select your best available resources and methods and should increase the probability of a sucessful outcome.
Unlike many courses taught nationally, this course will also teach the complexities of conducting a search in an urban area.
With the increased population growth in urban areas and small comunities, and the need to provide home care to an aging population, the importance of urban searches has risen.
