HE  IS  RISEN

They put Him on a cross, and held Him there with nails;
They left Him to die, ignoring the womens' wails!

They thought He was dead, and so they went away;
Unaware that the resurrection would occur on the third day!



His Father would never leave him, foresaken and alone;
So He sent His angels to bring Him back to this throne!

He had to die on the cross so we could gain entry to Heaven, we pray;
Where we'll all meet our Savior, and be able to say........



Thank you Lord Jesus for loving us enough to suffer and die;
You loved us, and wanted us to be able to join you - that's why!
