Let me just say that I am sooo happy that he did not win in the Nevada election. Although all politicans are fake and liars, Dario does take the cake. He is the worse politican I have had the dis- honor of knowing. He has no good ideas and hes nothing but a theif. He ran a very bad campain and ultimately lost the election. All I can say is WOOOOHOOOO!!! Jon Porter (R) actually won. Anything is better than Dario, even a member of the bush family would be better than Mr. Herrera, and that not saying much about him..
I was not surpirsed that this didnt pass even though Nevadans voted Yes to medical marijuana in the past two elections. Marijuana is still federally illegal, however, to me it was an opion poll. This issue would have passed if it wasnt for the "3 ounce" provision. The conservatives and the Anti 9 campaign went as low as to show a commerical that showed 4 teenagers in a car smoking maijuana and running over a child on a bike...CMON..get serious. They made it seem like the whole world was going to go out and smoke weed and kill everyone.The voters were misinformed once again. The provision was for it to be legal for adults only and for use in the privacy of a home. It also called for stircter punishment for those who used it outside of there or were under the influence in public. Has prohibition taught us nothing??? People need to wake up and take responsibility for themselves and realize that "Big Brother" needs to get out the their life. Think for yourself ..its a nice change.
This was called the "protection of marriage and morality act". When is chruch and state going to be actually seperate? This question was to make the legal definition of marriage between a man and a woman. But what voters dont realize is that by federal law, if a union is made in other state it is still legal and valid in every state, so those who voted yes, and feel that they were doing children and god a favor, need to wake up and open their minds.
