Company "I" was consolidated 24 Oct. 1863 with Companies "B", D and G. Company officers at the regiments organization are as follows: Robert A. Born 23 Feb. 1836 in Paris, Tn. to Lewis and Bethany (Sexton) Wimberly. He enlisted in Co.F 20th Tn. Cav. in 1864. He farmed in Henry Co. after the war. Moved to Reinz, Ms. in 1919 and died near there, 3 Feb. 1921. Buried in the Henkle Cemetery east of Booneville, Ms. (Tn. Confederate Pension # 7956, Gibson, Co., Tn.). He was living in Gibson Co., Tn. when he filed for the pension. Wimberly, Noah, Escaped capture at Island No. 10. Lived in Henry Co., Tn. Parents were John and Jane Wimberly. He was born in 1833. Wimberly, W. D., Furloughed at Island No. 10, Jan. - Feb. 1862. He did not return to the regiment. W. D. Wimberly is also listed as serving in Co. 'IF" of the 20th Tn. Cav., Tn. Confederate Pension # 6430, Henry Co., Tn. Wimberly, William M., age 21, Escaped capture at Island No. 10. He was wounded at Nashville, Tn., 15 Dec. 1864, by grape shot in the left leg, fracturing the fibula. His leg was amputated and he died 18 Dec. 1864, by hemorrhaging. Buried in the Mt.
