Company "B" consolidated 24 Oct. 1863 with Companies “D”, “G”, and "I". Company officers at the regiment’s organization, 29 Nov. 1861 are as follows:

John A. Allen, Captain, age 25.  Captured at Island No. 10, sent to Camp Chase, Ohio, transferred to Johnson's Island 1 May 1862. Exchanged 23 Sept. 1862 at Vicksburg, Ms. Resigned 30 Sept. 1862 and was succeeded by W. G. Randle.
George W. Hart, lst Lt. Captured at Island No. 10, sent to Camp Chase, Ohio, transferred to Johnson's Island I May 1862.  Sent to Vicksburg, Ms. for exchange 1 Sept. 1862.  Captured at Wells Creek, Tn., 8 May 1863, (Dickson Co., Tn.), sent to Johnson's Island.  He died 27 March 1864 from pneumonia.  His body was sent to Paducah, Ky.
J. F. Upchurch, 2nd Lt., Escaped capture at Island No. 10, did not report back to the regiment.  He was succeeded by G. F. Bowman.  His name also appears as serving in Co. “F” 20th Tn Cav. (John Upchurch).
Calvin Edgar/L. C. Edgar, 3rd Lt., Escaped capture at Island No. 10.  He resigned 30 Sept. 1862.  Lived in Henry Co., Tn.  He was succeeded by W. L. Cooper.
W. G. Randle, 1st Sgt., Escaped capture at Island No. 10.  Lived in Henry Co., Tn.  He did not show up at the regiments reorganization, 30 Sept. 1862. (W. Green Randle).
J. W. Nance, 2nd Sgt., age 25, Escaped capture at Island No. 10.  He lived in Henry Co., Tn.  He is listed as a teamster at the end of the war, (Quartermaster Dept.). Paroled at Greensboro, N.C., 1865. (John Nance).
Ezekiel P. Adams, 2nd Cpl., age 18, Captured at Island No. 10, sent to Camp Butler, Ill.  Exchanged 23 Sept. 1862 at Vicksburg, Ms. Killed in the Battle of Franklin, Tn., 30 Nov. 1864.  Buried in the McGavock Confederate Cemetery, Row 65, grave #209, Franklin, Tn.

Brudridge, J. L./J. L. Brundredge, age 24, Died at Island No. 10, Feb. 1862.  Lived in Henry Co., Tn.
Cooper, W. L., Lt., Entered the Confederate service 20 May 1861 in Paris, Tn. under the command of Col. William E. Travis of the 5th Tn. Inf.  He later served in the 46th Tn. Inf. and was elected Lt., 30 Sept. 1862.  Surrendered at Columbus, Ms, 18 May 1865.
Council, E. E., Escaped capture at Island No. 10.  He never did return to the regiment.  Lived in Henry Co., Tn.
Council, J. L., Discharged on account of a disability, 11 April 1863.
Culpepper, J. W., Captured at Island No. 10, sent to Camp Douglas Ill.  He took the oath to the U. S. while in prison, and was discharged, 30 Aug. 1862.
Danel, P. R./ P. R. McDaniel, No information was found on this soldier.  His name appears in Tennesseans in the Civil War, Vol 2 page 118.   See Peter R. McDaniel.
Darnall, W. N., Cpl., Escaped capture at Island No. 10.  Lived in Henry Co., Tn. (William N. Darnell).

Dean, John A., Captured at Island No. 10, sent to Camp Douglas, Ill.  He took the oath to the U. S. while in prison, and was discharged, 30 Aug. 1862.
Diggs, N. M., He was absent sick when the regiment was captured at Island No. 10, 8 April 1862.
Diggs, Richard, Died at Island No. 10 Feb. 1862, while in camp.
Diggs, Thomas, Records show him deserting at Island No. 10 in Feb. of 1862.

Allen, Daniel, Reported as being a prisoner to be released from Point Lookout, Md., 10 July 1865.  He was given transportation home to Henry Co., Tn. (National Archives).
Almond, Edmund W., age 16, Captured at Island No. 10, sent to Camp Douglas, Ill.  He took the oath to the U. S. while he was in prison.  Lived in Henry Co., Tn.  E. W. Almond is also listed as serving in Pills Cav. and surrendering 10 May 1865 at Knoxville, Tn., and taking the oath to the U. S., 19 May 1865. (Ed Allman).

Aycock, James W., 5th Sgt., Escaped capture at Island No. 10. Captured at Okalona, Ms., 19 Feb. 1864, sent to Alton, Ill. And transferred to Point Lookout, Md., 23 Mar. 1865.  He was released 5 June 1865.

Barham, J. T./James Barham, One file stated that J. T. Barham escaped capture at Island No. 10.  The other record stated that a James Barham took the oath to the U. S. at Camp Douglas, Ill.
James T. Barham, age 17 in the 1860 Henry Co., Tn. Census.  His parents were Lewis F. and Elizabeth Barham. Barnhill, S. A./Samuel Barnhill., age 25, Captured at Island No. 10, sent to Camp Douglas, Ill.  Died 4 Aug. 1862 while in prison of "congestion of the brain".  He is buried in the Oakwoods
Cemetery, Confederate Mound, Chicago, Ill.  In the 1860 Henry Co., Tn. Census, Samuel, age 24 is living with his mother Elizabeth Barnhill.
Baucham, William/W.  K. Baukum, Escaped at Island No. 10.  Lived in Henry Co., Tn.
Beard, Joseph, age 30, Escaped capture at Island No. 10. Dicharged because of ill health.  Lived in Henry Co., Tn.  Parents, Thomas and Mary Beard. (also served in Co. “G” 7th Tn. Cav.).
Beard, Samuel, age 22, Escaped capture at Island No. 10.  He also served in Co. “G” 7th Tn. Cav., and served through the war.  He was one of the thirty present at the surrender.  His parents were Thomas and Mary Beard. (Tn.  Confederate Pension #11256).
Biles, G. W., Escaped capture at Island No. 10. Lived in Henry Co. Tn.  George Biles is listed as taking the oath to the U. S. while at Camp Douglas, Ill., Aug.1862. Edwin Rennolds' book, A History of Henry County Commands, page 200, states that he was captured at Island No. 10.
Bostick, W. D., Captured at Island No. 10, sent to Camp Douglas, Ill.  He took the oath to the U. S. while he was in prison and was discharged, 30 Aug. 1862.  W. D. Baustic and W. H. Bostick are filed with W. D. Bostick at the National Archives.
Bowman, Frank, Lt., See George F. Bowman, 2nd Lt.
Bowman, George F., 2nd Lt., age 24, He first joined the Confederate service, 14 May 1861, serving in Co. “F” 154th Sr. Tn. Inf. as a pvt.  Joining this unit at Randolph, Tn. (Fort Wright), by Col. P. Smith.  He was taken prisoner while at home on sick leave.  After being exchanged he was elected lieutenant of Co. "B" of the 46th Tn. Inf.  Captured 15 Dec. 1864 at Nashville, Tn., sent to Johnson's Island, Ohio.  He was released from prison, 13 May 1865, by taking the oath to the U. S. Lived in Henry Co., Tn. His parents were Esq.  George and Nancy Bowman of the 14th District.  George F. Bowman was 6”1’ inch tall.
Hart, James, Captured at Island No. 10, sent to Camp Douglas, Ill.  Took the oath to the U. S. while he was in prison, and was discharged 30 Aug. 1862. (James L. Hart).  National Archives.

Hawes, Elijah, Transferred from Co. "A".  His name is found in Edwin Rennolds' history, page 201, captured at Island No. 10, and died in prison, Tennesseans in the Civil War, Vol 2 , page 196.
Howe, E., This soldiers name is listed in Tennesseans in the Civil War, Vol. 2, page 213, and in The Military Annals of Tennessee, Confederate lst Series, page 543, by John Berrien Lindsley, He died Aug. 1862.

Jackson, Thomas, Cpl., Escaped capture at Island No. 10.  Lived in Henry Co., Tn.  In Rennolds' History, page 201, Captured at Island No. 10.
Johnson, E., Records show that he was captured at Fort Donelson, Tn., 16 Feb. 1862, could be an error.  Probably captured at Island No. 10.  He was sent to Camp Douglas, Ill. and died there 8 May 1862.  He is buried in the Confederate section of the Oakwoods Cemetery, Chicago, Ill.  He died from typhoid fever. Elijah Johnson, captured at Island No. 10, died in prison.

Lee, R. A./Robert Alexander Lee, Captured at Island No. 10, sent to Camp Douglas, Ill.  He took the oath to the U. S. while in prison.  Discharged 30 Aug. 1862.  In Rennolds' History, page 201, he is listed as escaping at Island No. 10, and serving in the cavalry.  Born, 1824 in Va., and died 1908 in Rutherford Co., Tn. Married, Mary Nance, 31 Aug. 1854 in Rutherford Co., Tn.  Mary Nance was born 20 Jan. 1829, Rutherford Co., Tn., and died 14 June 1894 in Rutherford Co., Tn. (U.D.C. # 66/1474).
Lucas, J. M., Captured at Island No. 10, sent to Camp Douglas, Ill.  He died while in prison, 1 June 1862.  He is buried in the Oakwoods Cemetery Confederate section, Chicago, Ill. (J. M. Lucus).
Marberry, Pleasant, Escaped capture at Island No. 10.  Lived in Henry Co., Tn. (P. M. Marberry).

McDoogle, A. J., age 19, Captured at Island No. 10, sent to Camp Douglas, Ill.  Exchanged 23 Sept. 1862, Vicksburg, Ms. Records show that he was transferred to Co.”E”  He had a gun shot wound to the left thigh near Atlanta, Ga. 29 July 1864,(The Battle of Ezra Church, 28 July).  Jack McDoogle, Jack McDougal, Jack McDoogan, and Andrew J. McDougalle are also filed under this soldiers name at the National Archives.  In Rennolds' History, page, 201, killed at Atlanta, Ga.

Nance, L. H., In Rennolds' History, page 201, Died at Atlanta, Ga., June 1864, and page 132, He was a member of Co. "B" 5th Tn. Inf., discharged because of ill health, re-enlisted in Co. "B" of the 46th Tn. Inf.
Nance, W. T., age 21, Escaped capture at Island No. 10.  Lived in Henry Co., Tn.  Captured at Nashville, Tn. 16 Dec. 1864, sent to Camp Douglas, Ill. or Camp Chase, Ohio.  Records at the National Archives show him being listed at both prisons.  On 26 Feb. 1865 his name appears at Wayside Hospital/General Hospital #9 in Richmond, Va., (chronic dysentery).  William Thomas Nance.  In Rennolds' History, page 201, it states that he escaped Island No. 10, and joined the 10th Tn. Cav., returned to the 46th Tn. Inf., captured at Nashville, Tn.
Neese, Nicholas J., Captured at Island No. 10, sent to Camp Douglas, Ill.  He took the oath to the U. S. while in prison. Discharged 30 Aug. 1862.
Nored, D. H., 2nd Sgt., Escaped captured at Island No. 10.  Did not return back to the regiment.  Lived in Henry Co., Tn. (D. H. Norred).
Pool, H., Records show him dying, 23 Aug. 1862, at Camp Douglas, Ill.  He is buried in the Oakwoods Cemetery, Chicago, Ill. (See Henry Poole).
Pool, S., Escaped capture at Island No. 10.  Lived in Henry Co., Tn.
Poole, Henry, Capture at Island No. 10, sent to Camp Douglas, Ill.  He died while in prison 22 Aug. 1862, and is buried in the Oakwoods Cemetery, Chicago, Ill.  Cause of death was dysentery.

Rolls, W. M., age 21, Surrendered to Union Forces 15 May 1865 at Fort Donelson, Tn., and took the oath to the U. S. 19 May. He lived in Henry co., Tn. (William Rools/W.  M. Rools).
William Ralls, captured at Island No. 10, wounded at Atlanta, lived in the 23rd District, Old 23rd District, by Charles D. Robbins.
Russell, R. J., Captured at Island No. 10, sent to Camp Douglas, Ill.  Took the oath to the U. S. while in prison.  Discharged 30 Aug. 1862. (A.  J. Russell also filed at the National Archives under R. J. Russell).
Sexton, H. L., Escaped capture at Island No. 10.  Records at the National Archives also show that he was absent, sick, at the time of the regiments surrender at Island No. 10.
Sexton, Thomas J., All the records show on this soldier is, he was surrendered at Johnsonville, Tn., 20 May 1865.  He took the oath to the U. S., 23 May.  He lived in Henry Co., Tn.
Smith, W. W., Captured at Island No. 10, sent to Camp Douglas, Ill.  He took the oath to the U. S. while in prison, and was discharged 30 Aug. 1862. (Willian W. Smith).

Williams, Jeptha, Captured at Island No. 10, sent to Camp Douglas, Ill.  He died while in prison, 10 Aug. 1862, and was buried in the Oakwoods Cemetery, Chicago, Ill. (Jeptha M. Williams).
Winn, John W., Sgt., Escaped capture at Island No. 10.  Lived in Henry Co., Tn.  Records also show him being from Humphreys Co., Tn.,(John Winn).  He reported to the Provost Marshall at Fort Donelson, Tn., 15 Feb. 1865, and took the oath to the U. S. (J. W. Wynn).
Winters, A. B., Captured at Island No. 10, sent to Camp Douglas, Ill.  He took the oath to the U. S. while in prison, and was discharged 30 Aug. 1862. (Aaron B. Winter).  Tn.  Confederate Pension # 8946, Houston Co., Tn.
Winters, M. E., This soldier is listed in Tennesseans in the Civil War, Vol. 2, page 441, as being in Co.”D”, see Co. “D”. His name also appears in Co. "B".
Wright, F. M., Escaped capture at Island No. 10.  Lived in Henry Co., Tn.
