Credits start rolling. Theme music is "Yamerarenai" from Tenchi Muyo. A flash of light resolves itself into an anime-hero young man in biker clothes who is making and throwing hundreds of little tiny paper cranes at an astounding rate. He doesn't watch where he's throwing them, however, and one of them hits an anime-style woman in the face. She pulls out a mallet and beans him in the head.

A swirl interrupts the shot, and resolves itself into a different young woman swirling a star-covered cloak dramatically. She smiles enigmatically at the camera, then flings a spray of playing cards. We get a close-up shot of the ace of spades, and the screen flashes to a suave man in a tuxedo. The camera pans around him as he looks cool and hero-like.

The tuxedo guy smoothly reaces into his back pocket and produces a... slingshot? of the old Y-fork variety. He fires a stone directly at the camera.
The angle shifts and the small stone becomes a huge boulder rolling down a hill with a maniacally grinning small boy riding confidently on top of it.

The biker-clad boy and another young man, this one wearing mostly back and sporting a pair of scholarly glasses, are facing each other in a field against the setting sun. They charge at each other...

...and the scene shifts to the interior of a bar, where a rather bishounen young man is holding a tankard and looking rather wasted. Suddenly two dozen ninjas attack him from nowhere; when the scene clears, the young man is standing alone in the bar with piles of enemies around him. He gazes around for a moment, then takes a drink and passes out.

The camera slowly pans across a still screen full of bad guys; the evil Disco Man, the Playboy Bully, a grim-faced woman with a vacuum cleaner, a redheaded girl with a fishing rod and a maniacal grin, and a suited man with a wooden sword, plus lots more.

The black-clad teengager from the previous shot stands on a clifftop. We get the traditional three views of him powering up before he unleashes a huge blast of energy.

The same young man stands outside a building; one by one, all the others from the opening sequence run on-shot and start fighting with each other or flinging themselves romantically at somebody's feet. There is a sudden splash of water, and everyone is reduced to various animal forms except the drunk boy, who stares about him as if wondering where everyone went. He stands dripping wet surrounded by a raccoon, a dove, a rabbit, a mouse, and a small dragon.
