The Pentacle

The pentacle is usually a flat peice of brass, gold, silver, wood, wax or clay inscribed with symbols. The most important and only necessary one being the pentagram. The pentacle is often used to consecrate other tools.

The pentacle is a symbol of the Earth.

Finding or Making a Pentacle

A pentacle is easy to make using wax or clay. Simply make a flat circle and draw any symbols you wish on it. Wood and metal are a little more difficult to work with but with the right tools and a little time you can make quite a nice one. Finding one is a bit harder and usually has to be purcased from a mail order or internet catalog.
