Esbat Ritual

Altar Setup

Use white or silver candles

Cover the altar in a white cloth

Incense; Bay, Sandalwood, Frankencense

White wine or milk and crescent cakes

Ritual

Cast the circle, Invoke the Lord, Lady and Guardians.

Bless the salt and water and place three portions of salt into the water. Mix three times with the athame.

Place the bowl in the center of the altar and touch the athame to it saying:

Bless this vessel of earth and water. As of water and earth am I.

Hold the bowl towards the sky and say:

Great Mother I honor you on your sacred night. As you fill the sky with your light. You stand proud with the Lord at your side. Speak with you child, whom you have named (your craft name). Lend me you wisdom.

Sit and meditate, at this time you may receave a message or insight from the Goddess. You may then go on to any spell work you may have planned.
