Bath salts and herbal baths are used for cleansing of one's body and spirt before a ritual, meditation or to help relieve stress or other negative emotions.
Components of a Bath Salt
Bath salts are mixtures of salt and essential oils picked specificaly for the ritual or spell about to be performed or as a spell of it's own usually to cure stress or illness.
All bath salts start with the same base; 3 parts Epsom salt, 2 parts baking soda and one part table salt or borax. To this add the essential oils until the mix is strongly scented. Note that mixing the oils thuroghly in with the salts may take a while. As you mix the salts strongly visualize your need and pour your personal energy into the mixture. Bath Salts should also be colored, this can be done easily with a few drops of food coloring.

The herbs can be ground into a powder and added directly to the bath or they can be put into a small cloth pouch or a tea stooper. The herbs used in a bath should be related to the ritual or spell about to be performed. Herbal baths can also be used as spells of their own usually to cure stress or illness.
