The Crusher Speaks About Governor Ventura

Bob Reitman and Gene Mueller of Milwaukee radio station
WKTI interviewed The Crusher Wednesday morning, November 4,
about Jesse Ventura winning the election for Governor of
Minnesota:
REITMAN: "He's been a friend of the Reitman and Mueller show for many a moon. We stepped in the ring with him. It's been a while. But Jesse "The Body" Ventura was elected governor of Minnesota last night, so we figure we got our own man in this town. What a treat to talk with him again. Ladies and gentlemen, The Crusher. Good morning.
CRUSHER: "How are ya."
MUELLER: "How many times did you wrestle Jesse "The Body" Ventura, do you remember, Crush?"
CRUSHER: "No, I can't...none of that. But we had some rough battles, I'll tell ya."
REITMAN: "Listen. We wanna run you for governor. Can we do that?"
CRUSHER: "Yeah, well, people been tryin' to run me for President through the years - I don't know if I should take a step down. 'Bout time we had some guys in there. Ya know it's about time they got ridda' some a them turkeynecks all around here and put some real men in there."
REITMAN: "What's Jesse Ventura like? Is he smart?"
CRUSHER: "Well, I bet he is, he got to be president of Minnesota, but I never was around 'em that much except in the ring. But definitely he had what they wanted to hear and I think he'll do a helluva job. He was talkin' about maybe havin' another match. And maybe it should be with me."
REITMAN: "Okay, we're gonna draft you, Crusher. I think The Crusher in 2002. Thanks for joining us. We'll be in touch."
CRUSHER: "Okay, roll out them barrels!"
