Milwaukee's favorite son, The Crusher, tops the list of sports personalities taking part in Wednesday's Battle of the Conductors in the Mlwaukee Symphony Orchestra's 1985-'86 season ticket telethon. The Crusher will conduct the clarinet polka. Other sports personalities include Milwaukee Admirals General Manager Phil Wittliff (Skater's Waltz), Green Bay Packer offensive tackle Tim Huffman (Theme from Rocky), Milwaukee Bucks forward Paul Mokeski (Sweet Georgia Brown) and Milwaukee Brewer President Bud Selig will conduct Bridge Over Troubled Waters. The competition will take place at the Performing Arts Center's Uihlein Hall. The show will be telecast on Channel 6 from 8-10 .m. Tickets are available at the door. There are no reserved seats.

Milwaukee's favorite has host Tom Hooper and Jill Geisler laughing as they await the judges' scores. Trouble is about to brew as Albert the Alley Cat has given Crusher a lowly "7". The Crusher chokes Albert as Tom Pippins (left) referees. The Crusher was awarded the bronze medal.
