AJ was standing out on the steps waiting for the cab to pick him up when he heard Molly yelling and saw her, through the window, storm upstairs. He walked back into the house and ignoring Andie's pleas to stick his bone in her, he walked into the kitchen and confronted Howie.
"WHAT THE FUCK DID YOU DO?" AJ screamed at Howie.
Howie's face turned white as his best friend confronted him. "Nothing Bone, Molly and I were talking and I asked her what her problem was and she started screaming out all these things..Bone she did go to my high school. I have to go home and look for her again, I will call you later" Howie said goodbye and asked Kevin to borrow his truck.
AJ ran upstairs and followed the sound of Molly crying and opened the door and saw her lying on the bed curled up and red eyed. He sat down on the bed and rubbed her back. "Chipper?"
"Alex leave me alone...please" Molly said in between sobs.
"No I won't, dammit I am your friend and I am not leaving you alone, you need me and I am staying."
Molly sat up and looked at him "WHY ARE YOU HERE? Don't you understand? Fuck Alex, I just blurted out everything to Howie..I need to be alone."
AJ stood up and looked at her "If you can look at me and say that with a straight face then I will leave, otherwise I am staying"
Molly stared at the man who she had come to love as a little brother and she started to cry. AJ sat down and let her head fall into his lap. He stroked her hair and listened to her cry. "God Molly why can't you see that I love you?" AJ thought to himself.

"Hey where is Molly? Where is Howie, hey where is AJ?" Kel interupted the joke that Nick was telling and looked around the room "Hmm a Howie and AJ sandwich...that a girl Molly, hey Kymmi bet you are jealous as hell huh?" Kel teased.
"Hell no, Crissy and I are going to take turns riding Nick's Tyranasaurus Rex..aren't we Nick?"
Nick stared at her, unsure of how to take her "Hell yeah, all you hootchies can play in my Jurassic Park if you want to," Nick grinned as the hootchies burst out laughing.
Skylar hadn't seen Molly in a while and she excused herself .
"Are you okay baby?" Kevin asked. He was secretly hoping that she would say she was tired and he could get the hootchies out of his house. They were getting drunker and louder by the minute and were giving off vibes that they were not soon leaving.
Sklyar smiled "Honey I am alright, just going to check on Molly. Skylar walked upstairs and stopped when she saw the open door of Molly's room and saw her lying in AJ's lap as he stroked her hair. Skylar didn't want to intrude so she turned and walked back downstairs.

Howie ripped through the pages of his yearbook until he got to the page that Molly had screamed out. He scanned the page and stopped when he got to the picture of the girl who he hadn't thought of in years. "Molly Bridges...." Howie whispered her name and squinted to get a better look at the picture. She looked so unalive, almost tortured, her hair was dull and her smile was lifeless. "Oh my God it is Molly......Oh my God I am the cause of all of her pain" Howie looked at her eyes and he knew and he was overcome with shame. He threw the yearbook aside and closed his eyes.
"Hey Molly you know better than that, whenever you walk you are supposed to wear your sign" Howie held up the CAUTION WIDE LOAD sign.
"Hey Tubby, move your fat ass"
"That earthquake was something huh...guess Molly fell out of bed"
Howie opened his eyes "How could I have been so cruel, how do I ever make things right?" Howie covered his face and began to cry.

AJ waited until Molly's cries had subsided and he heard the soft and even tones of her breathing, which signalled that she had fallen asleep, and then he tiptoed out of her room and downstairs. He smiled when he saw all the women passed out. Kim Ann and Jenn had fallen asleep on the couch, Nick and Crissy were passed out, looking uncomfortably squished into the chair, Sarah had fallen asleep on Nick's knee. Lisa, Kel, Andie and Elaine were on the floor and the various other hootchies were asleep on the deck. AJ walked into the kitchen and almost tripped on a sleeping Jessi.
"What the hell is she doing on the floor in the kitchen?" AJ thought to himself with a grin. "These women know how to party." He grabbed a bottle of water out of the fridge and walked outside on the steps to have a cigarette. He was trying to figure out how to tell Molly his true feelings for her when he heard her scream "NO" and he tossed the cigarette and bolted upstairs. He barged past a very frightned Kevin and Skylar who were standing in their bedroom doorway and ran into Molly's room and held her. "Shhhh Chipper I am here, it was just a bad dream, come on Molly...there..I won't ever leave you" AJ rocked her until she calmed down.
"AJ please don't leave me...please." Molly laid down in AJ's arms and the two were soon asleep.
Skylar and Kevin watched the scene take place and as they walked back
into
their room Kevin said softly "Those two should get together"
