"I know baby, I know" Molly ran her hands over Kevin's face "you are beginning to sound like a slow, sappy, song"
Kevin laughed softly and bent down to talk to his unborn child "You be good for mommy, I love you and cannot wait to hold you in my arms, count your toes, kiss your face and bond with you. I love you peanut" Kevin kissed Skylar's stomach and amidst all the hustle and bustle of the airport the family shared a tender moment.
"Baby I have to go, I will call you tonight...promise me you will think of me every day."
"Every night I will blow my kisses into the wind, leave the window open and they will find your lips, know that when the soft wind blows I am thinking of you" Kevin wiped the tears from Skylar's face and kissed her softly.
Molly broke the embrace and walked away "Dont look back, just don't look back" she said to herself as she walked to the boarding gate.
"This is wrong, I cannot leave her and peanut alone" Kevin wiped the
steady
stream of tears that were falling down his face and watched as the
woman who
held his heart and who was carrying his child disappear onto the plane.
He
pressed his hand against the cool glass of the window that overlooked
the
runway and willed his love to find her, willed his body heat to nestle
into
her hand and keep it warm. "Goodbye my loves, I will hold you both in
my
thoughts every second that we are apart" Kevin watched as the plane
took the
two people he loved the most, far into the horizon, only when he could no
longer feel her presence did he leave.
