"I am coming, geez hold on...for shits sake if this is a fan I am going to kill their teeny asses" Kim Ann mumbled as she crawled out of bed and padded downstairs still wearing her pajamas, her wild hair a mess. "Can I help, oh" Kim Ann stood in the doorway and her cranky expression softened as she saw the flower box the man was holding. She signed for them and anxiously opened the box. "Oh my god, how did he know?" Kim Ann sat cross legged on the living room floor and buried her face in the tulips. She reached for the card and smiled when she read what was written
"Red,
I miss you like crazy, these are a dozen flowers for every week I have been away from you, when you pick me up from the airport the rest will be waiting in my arms.

Kim Ann reached for the phone and dialed his number. He surprised her by picking up on the first ring.
"So I guess you got them huh?" Nick said cheerfully.
"They are beautiful, how did you know they were my favourite flower?"
"There is a lot you don't know that I know" Nick teased.
"I am surprised that you are up, it is only like 2 am there and you usually crash right after the show"
" I waited for your call"
"A little sure of yourself are we, what would you have done if I hadn't of called" Kim Ann said with a playful tone.
"No fear, I knew you would call..."
"Nick Skylar is here, I have to run...I wil talk to you when I get back..I miss you"
"I miss you more...Kymmi?" Nick asked softly.
"Yes..what is it?"
"I think I am in love with you" Nick heard the soft gasp and the line went dead. "Shit...shit...I blew it, damnit Brian" Nick slammed down the phone.
Kim Ann looked at the phone and stared in shock "Love me...Nick thinks he loves me?" Kim Ann opened the door and signaled for her friend to come in while she changed. Replaying the conversation over in her mind.

Molly was sitting on the stairs of the porch, waiting for the girls to pick her up, listening to her discman. AJ's smooth voice filled her ears and instantly put her at ease. Whenever she started to feel lonesome or afraid she put on her cd and it made her feel like AJ was right beside her. "Please baby, help me get through what the doctor tells me today...please." Molly closed her eyes and hugged her knees closer to her chest.

"He said what? He did what?" Skylar kept asking Kim Ann to replay the phone conversation that had taken place so that she could try to comprehend.
"He told me he thought he was in love with me...shit Skeelo I am not ready for that kind of comittment, damn he is too young to settle down"
"Kymmi will you stop thinking about the age, you guys are so great together. You have finally met someone that you can bully and they keep coming back for more, you have finally found someone who is as immature as you" Skylar tried to make light of the situation and dilemma but judging from the serious and confused look on her friend's face she knew that she was not succeeding. "Kymmi you need to stop thinking so much, god do you think that if I had of used my common sense that I would have let myself fall for someone I met on the internet. Go with your heart..Nick acted on his and now it is your turn to respond with your heart." Skylar smiled at her friend and pulled into Molly's laneway. "well isn't that a touching picture" The two friends smiled as the watched Molly swaying to the music, with her eyes closed. "It is too bad we have to pull her away from such a happy place and take her into such a scary event"
Kim Ann walked up to her friend and touched her shoulder, standing back and smiling brightly when Molly jumped. Molly took off her ear phones and smiled "Kymmi, you scared me"
"I am sorry, so what were you listening to, it seemed so relaxing?"
Molly blushed "It was AJ, he recorded a cd of him singing to me, before he went on tour and when I am missing him I play it and I am instantly healed"
"Well we should get going, are you ready?"
"As ready as I will ever be" Molly smiled and took Kim Ann's hand as they walked to the car.

Jessi was waiting in the parking lot when the girls pulled up. She walked over to meet them and hugged Molly tightly "Howie sends his love and he is waiting by the phone, did AJ call?"
Molly's strong demeanor crumbled at the mention of his name and she shook her head no.
"What do you mean he didn't call? I am going to kill that son of a bitch" Kim Ann was furious as she hugged her friend tightly.
"You must of missed his call, my god Kevin said that AJ was a wreck with worry" Skylar tried to make excuses but deep down she was just as furious as Kim Ann.
" I waited all night for him to call but he never did. I cannot understand why on the one day I need to hear his calming voice the most, he hasn't called." Molly's sobs were muffled as she buried her face in Kim Ann's shoulder.
"I am going to kill his scrawny ass, as god is my witness I am going to kill
him" Kim Ann muttered "Dont worry Mol we are here with you, you can depend
on us"
