Kim Ann broke the embrace and looked breathlessly up at Kevin. "Kev we can't do this"
Kevin ran his thumbs over her flushed face "Why can't we?"
"Because your wife is my best friend, because you have six children and I have two"
Kevin smiled "So we will be the BradyBunch..Kim Ann I have fallen in love with you, ever since that night we shared our first kiss I have wanted you. You started off my best friend and now you are the woman I crave." Kevin leaned in to kiss her again but her fingertips made a barrier on his lips.
"We can't, Kevin we have too much to lose. My god we are family" and she ran back towards the playground.
Kevin leaned against the tree for support and looked up to the sky "Bone I really need your help on this one"

"I am picking Molly up at noon tomorrow, have her dressed and ready to go. My mother is picking up Alex at 2." Nick turned to walk down the steps.
"Alex is not going to your mother's and Molly is not going out with you, they are going out with Howie and Jessi"
Nick turned to face her, his face flushed with anger "What? No Kim Ann they are going with my mother"
"You may like to live in a dream world where everyone bows down to you but new flash sunshine...I am THEIR MOTHER, THEY LIVE WITH ME, they are both going with their aunt and uncle"
"I don;t want them anywhere near those sick SOBs, do you hear me..not now not ever, if you want to live in hell with them go ahead but my children will not be a part of it" Nick held onto Kim Ann's arm tightly.
"First I suggest you take your hands off of me before I call the cops and show them the bruise, secondly Howie and Jessi are my family and if I want the twins to be introduced to a world of love instead of the hate filled lives you and your pathetic red neck families live in I WILL..NOW GET THE HELL OFF OF MY PROPERTY" Kim Ann slammmed the door and walked into her house, trying to catch her breath.
Nick stood on her porch and tried to calm himself down. "I need her back, oh god I love her, I can't hate her I need her"

Skylar kissed her husband but pulled away when she didn't feel his lips repsonding to hers. "Baby what is it?"
Kevin looked at her "I have a lot on my mind, I just need some time to think" He grabbed his car keys and walked out of the house.

Kevin pulled into the parking lot of the cemetary and walked towards the now familiar path that led him to his friends' graves. He stopped when he saw a figure sitting on the grass in front of the grave. "Denise" he whispered and continued walking. "Mind if I join you?"
Kevin broke into Denise's prayer "Kevin, hi my love" she patted the ground beside her "Pull up a piece of grass and join me"
Kevin sat down beside her "So how is AJ and Molly today?"
"They are worried, we all are. Howie is really worried about Kymmi. She is pale, she isn't eating and they are worried that she is under too much stress, has she said anything to you?"
"Nick and Jane are giving her a really hard time, the twins are torn between her and Nick and I think she is keeping everything inside"
"We need to find a way to make her talk, this is not good for her or the baby" Denise took Kevin's hand and squeezed it. "She will listent to you Kevin, she always has, you are her older brother"
Kevin grimaced when Denise said older brother. "I need to find a way to make Kim Ann realise that I don't think of her as my little sister, I think of her as the woman I want to spend the rest of my life with" he thought to himself.

Kim Ann walked out her door and was startled when she saw Nick sitting on the front step. "what are you still doing here, come back to finish your attack on me?" she asked cooly.
"Sweet Pea, let me talk..please" Nick asked softly. "I have been a fool, a huge fool. I kicked the woman who I love with all my heart out of my life. Baby I was an idiot. I still don't agree with what you are doing but I understand why you did it. Baby that's why I love you so much, you always put everybody ahead of yourself, you love everyone and want everyone to be happy."
"Nick I can't go down this road again, baby I can't have you near me if you aren't going to accept this. This is a huge deal to me and I take it very seriously"
"Kymmi I will accept it, if it means I can have you back in my arms and in my life then I will deal with it. If it means we can go back to being a family then I will suck it up and be the supportive boyfriend. Just tell me you will let me back in your life" Nick hung his head and cried.
"Welcome home baby" Kim Ann kissed the top of his head and leaned down to whisper in his ear.
Kevin was driving down the street on the way to tell Kim Ann when he saw
Nick and her in each others arms. "Dammit." and the tears flew freely down
his cheeks as he watched them. "I blew it Bone, I blew it" and he drove home
to tell his wife that he wanted her to move back in. After all he had lost
the woman he had just discovered he loved so why not go back and live with
the woman he once loved.
