"I can leave, God I am an idiot, I can't belive that I didn't remember that you were here," Brian apoligised looking at Skylar as he said it.
Skylar gave Brian a warm smile "That's okay Brian, now you guys talk, I am going to catch some rays and do some work."
"No, no, no! No work for you, this is a vaction remember?" Kevin shook his finger at Skylar and laughed.
"What are you going to do, put me over your knee and spank me?" Skylar grabbed her laptop and stuck her tongue out at Kevin as his mouth curled up in a devilish expression. She went to the bedroom to change into her bathing suit.
Brian and Kevin smiled and went onto the patio to talk. "Kev, I have never seen you so alive, my God no offense, but you are usually so upitty and serious. This girl has mellowed you out; I like it." Brian grinned.
"Brian she is magical, whenever I hear her laugh or see her smile I soar," Kevin's happy expression turned to a serious one "cuz, can I tell you something?"
"Kev, you don't have to ask, my God what is it?"
"I am in love with her."
"Kevin you have only spent like a week with her. Sure you have been emailing each other and stuff but come on."
"Brian, you don't understand. What’s going on in my heart is real, it is intense. Do you know that for the past month I have dreamed of her every night, prayed every night that when I woke up she would be in my arms. Brian....she has stolen my heart," Kevin looked out at the beach where Skylar was walking on the sand. "I am completely and totally in love."
Brian smiled and squeezed his cousin's shoulder.

Skylar laid out her blanket on the white sand and took off Kevin's shirt that she had worn as a cover up. She booted up her laptop and checked her email. "Hmm no messages from work, things must be great" she scrolled down and saw a message from Kim Ann.
"Skeelo,
You better not be reading this email or I will kick your ass. You are alone with the most beautiful and intense man this side of Howie. Now turn off the damn laptop and go jump Kevin!"
Skylar burst out laughing "What a nut."
She read the emails from the list, though the hootchies had been extremly quiet. She wrote them a quick note,
Loving my vacation...you hootchies are way too quiet, I know you are missing me but seriously..LMAO
Andie, Kel, Jessi, Kim Ann, Crissy, Sarah, Keri, Lisa, Elaine, Tee, Dionne and the rest of you crazy hootchies START TALKING dammit...see you all in a couple of days.
She signed off and looked out at the ocean, she watched the waves crashing out in the distance. She felt the urge to write him an email and as she looked up at the birds soaring the words came to her.
" I have spent three days with the man and he is more than I ever expected. The night he took me skating is a memory that will live on in my thoughts forever. The tender way he put on my socks, the way he tied my laces and looked up at me with a concerned look to make sure they were not too tight. The way he sang the song so quietly so that only our two hearts could hear it. I have been questioning my feelings but when Kathie Lee showed our picture on national tv I saw how happy we both looked and the aura around us was evident. When he touches me he sets off explosions in my blood, I honestly believe that if I was hurt all he would have to do was lay his hand on me and he would heal me. How could God have created such an incredible man, how could he be out there for so long and nobody have found him.

"Bri we had better go find Skylar, she has been out in that sun for almost 2 hours and I am afraid that because her body is used to the cold winds that she will let the warm weather take advantage of her."
"Oh shit, look at how red she is, you can't see where her red bikini starts and where the sunburn ends" Brian and Kevin stood over the sleeping Skylar and grimaced as they saw how red her body was. Kevin bent down and gently kissed her cheek "Hi sleeping beauty, time to get up, you are overcooked," Kevin whispered to her.
Skylar tried to get up but her back was on fire, it felt so tight. "Shit, I am burnt...dammit" Brian helped her up and as she walked slowly to the water's edge to scoop water onto her burn, Kevin packed up her things. "That's a bad one," Kevin gingerly placed his arm around her waist and the two walked to Kevin's house.
"We should get you into a cool tub. Brian do you want to go and run the water please?"
"Sure, my god you guys make just the perfect couple, the derailed train and the toasted tamale," Brian laughed as he walked down the hall towards the washroom.
"Well now we can both say that we have been injured during this vacation," Kevin brushed the ever present curl that always seemed to be in Skylar's face and kissed her nose "Come on toastie we better get you cooled down"

"OUCH, SHIT, OH MY GOD!! Kevin it hurts," Skylar wimpered as Kevin sprayed the nozzle that was shooting cold water onto her burnt body.
"Shhh I know it hurts, baby but we have to get your body tempertature down otherwise you will overheat." Kevin wiped her forehead with a cold, wet cloth.
"The only person that is allowed to overheat in here is Kevin, looking at you with that skimpy bikini on. Hmm the thoughts that must be going through his head," everyone turned around to see AJ walk into the bathroom accompanied by Nick.
"Geez guys can you give us some privacy please?" Kevin said irritated.
"Brian told us about this poor little burnt girl and we decided to bring over my mom's secret recipe for burns," AJ handed Kevin a bottle of vinegar, "Pour this on a cloth and run it over her burn, it may sting but it will relieve the hot and tightness."
"Vinegar?" Kevin asked incredulously.
"POUR IT KEVIN," Skylar screamed. "You heard the woman pour it Kevin," AJ gave Kevin the cloth and as Kevin started to pour the vinegar AJ yelled "TAKE COVER SHE IS GOING TO SCREAM," Skylar was laughing but then let out a huge screech as the vinegar hit her sunburn."Holy Shit!" she was waving her hands and blowing hoping that it would take her mind off of the sting.
"Is she laying an egg or drying her nail polish?" Nick asked aloud.
Kevin shot them an annoyed look and pointed at the door "ALL OF YOU, OUT"
Kevin finished wiping Skylar's back with the vinegar and then held out a very large bath towel for her to dry off with, as she stepped into it Kevin held her close and tried with one hand to gently dry her. "As much as I appreciate this noble gesture, I think it would go faster if I did this" Skylar took the towel from Kevin's hand and gently dried herself off. "Kev I am going to get changed, why don't you go and apoligise to your friends for snapping at them while I know all they were trying to do was make me laugh," Skylar tousled Kevin's hair and closed the door. She looked at herself in the mirror and groaned, "You really outdid yourself this time, how the hell am I supposed to have any fun when I am so burnt I can hardly move?" Skylar made a face and gingerly tried to peel off her bikini top.

"Kevin really lucked out, that chick is frigging hot, did you check out her body?" Nick asked as the guys sat in the living room waiting for Kevin and Skylar to come down.
"I heard that Nick" Kevin came into the living room and shot Nick a look.
The guys were talking about their plans for that evening when Skylar walked downstairs. She was wearing a black cotton tank dress that she had bought with AJ.
"That looks great on you, especially with that tan," AJ said with a straight face
"Have you been told today Alex?" Skylar said with a grin.
The group sat down and tried to figure out their plans for the evening
as
each of the guys thought how perfect she was for Kevin and how she had
already captured their hearts as well.
