"Coming!" Brian stumbled through the house rubbing his eyes to see.He threw the door open to see AJ on the other side.
"AJ, what in thehell are you doing here? It's midnight for crying out loud. All Iwanted was a little sleep and--"
"Brian, I'm sorry that I came over so late."AJ cut Brian off.
"Well..what do you want?" AJ hesitated. Whatdid he want? He wasn't sure what to say.
"I need your advice. Angel's back." AJ made his way inside. Brianclosed the door behind him.
"Yeah, I saw her. I had to keep Ryan for herthis morning."
"Who?" AJ asked.
"Ryan. Her son, AJ." Brian told him.
"Wow, someone's moving fast." AJ laughed.
"You should talk." Brian sarcasticallyremarked. AJ's head shot up.
"Where's Brooke?" AJ quickly asked. "Out."
"Still?" Brian looked at AJ funny. "Imean...oh."
"Have you seen her?" Brian asked.
"I saw her around." AJ casually answered.
"Did she say anything?" Brian continued withthe questions.
"She was a little tipsy, Brian. Whatever shesaid wouldn't have meant anything anyway."
"What does that--" Brian stopped. "Listen, man." Brian and AJlistened closely as something rubbed against the wall outside of theapartment.
"It's probably just the neighboors." AJ suggested. Brian didn'tlisten to him. He slowly walked to the door and opened it. Brooke'sbody fell into his arms.
"Brooke." Brian cried. Brooke's blood pouredall over Brian'sclothes.
"Him." Brooke looked to AJ as the wordsescaped her mouth. Brooke took her last breath before collapsing in Brian'sarms. Brian looked up at AJ for an answer.
"And she was so good." AJ stared down at her body. Brian raised hiseyebrows.
"To you." AJ finished. He stepped over
Brian and Brookeand left the apartment.
