"He was with her?" Howie's eyes narrowed. >

"No." Howie stopped Nick. "Where is he?" >
"Hey, D. How are ya feelin'?" AJ walked> into> the apartment. >
"I'm a little upset." Howie casually> answered. >
"If there's anything I can do just let me> know." AJ informed. >
"Oh, you've done enough." Howie stared at> AJ.> AJ glanced at Nick > then back at Howie.>
"You told him?" AJ asked Nick. >
"Sorry. I didn't know it was confidential.">> Nick said in a snotty > tone.>
"What did you do to her, AJ?" Howie stood> to> his feet. >
"I didn't 'do' anything. We just...we> just..." >
"Fucked." Nick quickly filled in. AJ> waited> to continue. >
"Then, I took her home." He finished. >
"Why is she dead, AJ?" Howie inquired. >
"I don't know." AJ backed up holding his > hands against his chest. "I> don't even know what happened to her." >
"She was murdered, AJ. Her body was sliced> and diced and thrown out > of her apartment window." Nick bluntly told him the> story. AJ covered > his mouth in horror.>
"Oh, god." He whispered. "Who found her?" > AJ asked.>
"Danielle." Nick told him. "She went to> pick > her up this morning.> They were going shopping." >
"Oh, Danielle." AJ scoffed. "Why don't you> go blaming her, Nicky > boy?" AJ asked. "I mean, she was there." >
"She didn't do it, AJ." Nick almost yelled. >
"Yeah, she gets away because she's your> girlfriend. I'm supposed to > be your best friend, man.">
"AJ, I never said you did it." >
"You two, stop!" Howie said. "My cousin> was> murdered last night. > Can we get over this blaming each other shit and> grow> up?" Howie > stormed out of the room.>
"I have to go see Danielle." Nick started > to> walk away.>
"Send her my love." AJ grinned. Nick shot> AJ
> and evil look before> leaving the apartment.
