Howie and the guys were eating supper when AJ asked what they wanted to do that evening.
Nick was tired and said he was staying in.
"Well I want to check out the sights of Ottawa....I wonder where all the hot "sights" of Ottawa go to party." AJ grinned. The guys laughed and decided to go down on the market and see which club looked like it was the most happening.

Maddie hated her job. She had just started her shift and already she had been propositioned 3 times and had her ass pinched twice. She looked around for her friends but didn't see them.. She saw 4 guys settle into a booth near the dance floor. She walked over and flashed them a smile.
"Hi you guys.. I am your server Maddie...what will you all have?"
" A corona please."
"A rum and coke"
"Mike's Hard Lemonade"
Maddie looked at the man sitting nearest to her, she recognized him as the one from the cafe. Howie looked at her with his big brown eyes and said " I would love a tequila and 7 up please."
Maddie smiled at the man and teased "Ah a man after my own heart." she winked at Howie and walked away.
Howie watched her walk away. Her dark curly hair was piled up on her head, her black tube top and short black sarong clung to her and revealed her pierced naval. He looked up and saw the guys laughing at him..."she is into you D" AJ teased.
"Howie that is the girl at the cafe today...I wonder where her friend is." Kevin replied.
"Wow she looks very different." Howie thought to himself.
Maddie was waiting for the bartender to prepare their drinks, so she turned and watched the 4 guys. They were all laughing and smiling. She had never seen them in her club before so she figured they were either tourists or business men. The man with the big brown eyes was very attractive and his smile put her at ease.
"Hey Refusal....Wake up, your drinks are ready!" Maddie turned and smiled at Clay the bartender. She knew he hated that nick name...the staff called her refusal because she refused all the patrons who flirted with her. She picked up her tray and walked towards the table.
She handed them their drinks and smiled. "If you need a refill just yell and I will come running.." Maddie smiled and walked away.
The guys all took their drinks and headed to the dance floor. Maddie was serving another table when she saw the latin looking man dancing.."he is a very smooth dancer..not bad at all"
Howie was watching Maddie as he danced. She smiled at all her customers and seemed to be a people person. "D snap out of it...why don't you talk to her." Brian said to his friend.
"Naw she is at wok, and she is really busy...besides we are leaving in 2 days." Howie smiled and kept dancing.
Maddie spotted her friends on the dance floor and worked her way through the crowd to talk to them “HI kids...I am on a quick break..."
"Maddie the guys from today are here.." Suzie giggled
"I know I am their server."
"Are they nice..." Suzie asked
"Yes..." Maddie winked at her friends and hugged them.
Howie saw Maddie on the dance floor and tried to ease over to be close to her. He had managed to inch towards her circle of friends when she walked away. "Dammit.." Howie said.
Maddie went back to the bar and picked up the drinks for table 11. As she carefully squeezed through a large group of people, one of them crashed into her and sent the drinks and tray crashing to the floor and the drinks covered Maddie. "Dammit..I am such a klutz.." Maddie was upset and embarassed at the same time.
As she bent to pick up the broken pieces a figure bent down beside her and handed her a piece of a broken glass. "Are you alright?" Maddie looked up and saw the cafe guy kneeling beside her..
"I am fine..I wasn't paying attention..." she smiled at the man
"My name is Howie, by the way."
Maddie shook the man's hand and said "Thank you for helping me."
"No problem, actually I am glad it happened because it gave me a chance to get to introduce myself."
Maddie blushed and stood up..."Well I have to go and get new drinks..It was nice meeting you Howie." and she turned and walked away. Howie stood and replayed the moment...she had such a shy smile...He walked back to the booth and waited for his friends to return. He watched as a group of college frat boys flirted with Maddie, he was shocked when one of them pinched Maddie's ass. She gave the boy a disgusted look and walked away.
"Howie....did you talk to her?" AJ Asked
"Yes...she is really sweet..and her eyes are beautiful they are a crystal green , very exotic.." Howie was interrupted by a familiar voice.
"Hi guys is there anything else I can get you before I go on break?" Maddie smiled.
"No I think we can wait...we would hate to over work you.." Brian teased.
Maddie winked at him and said "Well aren't you the sweety..I will see
you in
15 minutes."
