This is how to win almost every game of cellblock you play. Some of your opponents will try something different once in a while, then you have to play it by ear, but generally this will work.

The "better" the opponent, the more predictable they are, and the more likely you are to win! The strategy I have illustrated above assumes the opponent is doing the "best" possible move. Actually, the strategy has SEVERAL ways you can win if the opponent is stupid & doesn't block when they should. There are also some alternatives if your opponent accidentally messes up the strategy!

Just remember if things go out of order: as long as you block your opponent just before they get a 5 in a row, you're ok.
