as we go through our busy days,
how easy it is to feel comfortable,
and content with the lives we have made.
We work, we play, we do all that is required,
feeling happy and fulfilled.
But then we meet someone, someone that
we find ourselves drawn to,
and the slow realization settles on us
that the life we had, needed something more,
that up until now, we saw things in shades of gray,
not seeing the true colors in life.
Suddenly, life takes on lush hues of the rainbow,
and we see our days through different eyes.
Our hearts and lives have felt the touch
of what love's enhancement can do
to make what was good, even better,
warmer and far brighter than ever before.
If you begin to see the colors of life,
reach out and hold tight,
to the one who has made you see them,
for the gift is great.
