Resulting product is a delicate swirled stain within the paper which may be used for a variety of projects.
The project called for:
- large flat pan (larger than paper size)
- water
- corn oil (2 tsps)
- paint
- white paper pre-cut to sheet size*
- toothpicks
- paper towelling or dry rags
Instructions:
- You fill the pan half way with water.
- Pour some paint on top and with toothpicks
swivel it.
- Pour in corn oil.
- Take white paper (or any paper stock without a watermark, pre-cut to the sheet size desired) and dip it in.
- Remove immediately. Pat with absorbant side of paper towel or cloth to remove excess moisture and allow to dry.
* Note: papers having a watermark may absorb the color unevenly emphasising the mark of the paper manufacturer. Best paper choices are unmarked butcher paper.
