Secretary Wu tells Ah Qing to be nicer to her husband and tells her what to do to make him love her more and to be able to keep his heart.
Grandma Li asks JiXiang to give her the lock necklace and she says it's really true that she's her grandchild. She decides to tell LiWei's story to Xiao Peng and JiXiang.
'...the baby is unwell and the baby needs to go to the hospital but she hasn't enough money. She forces a man to give her money and hurts his arm and she runs back home looking for her lover Su San aka San Ge. From that day she hasn't seen her baby and she looks for Su San to get her child but no one is there. She waited for 3days and 3 nights outside the old house but no baby was there. She then waited another 7 months at home but Su San still didn't come back. 3years later Li Wei was totally crazy by that time without any signs of her child....'
Grandma Li asks Xiao Peng about his views on his grandad Su San now. By this time both JiXiang and Xiao Peng are stunned by the truth of the story behind Li wei and Su san. Xiao Peng runs down the stairs.
Xiao Peng goes home to find his grandad and he asks him if it was him who took away the child. Su San doesn't reply and talks about other things trying to change the subject but Xiao Peng constantly asks if it was him and making Su San very angry and in the end Xiao Peng got a slap of his grandad after pestering him and saying bad things about his grandad. After getting slapped by his grandad Xiao Peng was very sad and just turned around and walked off.
Xiao Peng goes back to JiXiang and Grandma Li. They were both making little stoys for sale. he says sorry to them still very unhappy.
Wu Sec. is very happy and is singing and San Yuen goes to find him. He thanks Wu Sec. for making his wife so nice and gentle and gives Wu Sec. a present. he says he'll help write to teacher Li.
Grandad says he's regreting about the slap to Xiao Peng. Xiao Peng comes back into the Old house and goes upstairs where his grandad is. Xiao Peng sees his grandad and is unhappy. His grandad wants to say sorry but in the end he couldn't say it out.
Wu Sec., San Yuen Hai Yen and techer Li are talking about Wu Secs writting but as they are about to go out together Cousin Yang comes in and stops them from going out by talking to Teacher Li and keeping her occupied.
JiXiang is talking with grandma Li about the necklace and their relationship.
the next day they go to where LiWei's bone-dust was scattered. '..This is where Su San and Li Wei first met...' Su san then comes and JiXiang pulls him over. The first thing he says was '...It was me who took the child away..' He also said that the only person who could save the child was his dad but the only condition was that he would never see Li wei again and to leave ShangHai at once. He thought he could come secretly back to ShangHai to find Li Wei. Su San then asks Gandma Li how Li Wei had died. '...Li Wei is crazy and holds a pillow telling everyone to go away and not to take her child from her..'
Li Wei was then found dead outside the old house still holding the pillow thinking it's her lost child.
San Yuen and Wu Sec. are drinking chinese tea and they talk about how nice each other are and how they hated each other when they first met. San yuen then shouts for his wife Ah Qing when there was no water left. She comes out acting very nice and asks then what they want and is very nice and says sorry for forgetting to fill the water. Wu Sec. says that he doesn't reconise her as she has changed a lot. San Yuen thanks Wu Sec. again for his help. When they talk about teacher Li Secretary Wu is angry at Mr.Yang and they then look for his bad points and finds him taking a girl into his room. The girl is his new secretary and her name is Lu San. Teacher Li comes down and goes into the room with them both. The new female secretary Lu San comes back out looking for the toilets.
Teacher Li goes to find JiXiang because jiXiang's mother has phoned her. Grandad wants to find JiXiang's dad as he thinks it may be his long lost son according to the lock-necklace. Secreatry Wu lends JiXiang his mobile phone and she phones her dad. her Dad was washed away then rescued but was ok after a while. The Doctor said he is fainted and may lose his memory. All this news was told a bad one then a good and then a bad scaring everyone with the news.
Grandma Li is talking to her dead Sister Li Wei's photo. Meanwhile Su San is doing exactly the same.
JiXiang looks at the wall she and Xiao Peng painted red together and the pig they drew on the wall. She also sees the message Xiao Peng wrote on the wall (I love JiXiang (love was a drawn heart shape)). Xiao Peng is outside walking on the 'go back' character that JiXiang drew with blue paint ages ago. He is thinking and then sits on it looking stressed and unhappy.
Xiao Peng then goes to find Grandma Li and he asks about the child and if there was anything else then the necklace.
