I got into writing by way of writing plays. I was a drama major in high school, and wrote several unproduced plays during that time. My freshman year of college, when I was fifteen, I co-wrote 2 plays, wrote one play, directed two of those, and starred in productions of all of them. The next year I became an English major. They're oldies, but they're goodies!

I have a hard-copy of the two plays I co-wrote with "Jonathan Xavier Flagg" (read Yung-Kyu Choi), and 5-1/2 inch floppies with the other plays (including my Magnum Opus, the children's play "Waddle-Waddle." )

"Anala the Comedy" and "Dark White" will be posted as soon as I can transcribe them. I'm most excited about "Waddle-Waddle," but I must find an operating system disk for an Osborne 1 computer to recover the contents of my old floppies. Don't hold your breath for "Life is a Stage" or any of the other old unproduced plays, but if I can't recover "Waddle-Waddle," I shall write it again!

Also, in the future expect production notes from "Waddle-Waddle," "Dark White," and "Anala:" they make a dramatic story in and of themselves!

Jan. 2001: Good News! I've found some three hundred pages of old writing, including hard copies of several old plays, including the children's play "Waddle-Waddle," the verse play "Anala the Tragedy," the coming-of-age play "A Coming to Terms," the Barthelmesque story "Another Mango Marker," all seven poems from the "Liunev" series, and more...most of everything I wrote before age 19.
