THE CAUSE
Support for men, women, children, and all people who need all types of social service assistance for all different types of needs, for example, ranging from homelessness to drug abuse (to learn more please review this entire website).

THE NEED

There are thousands of men, women, children, and others in communities across America suffering as a result of not obtaining help for whatever their social and humanitarian need. Many in this community need help to overcome numerous and myriad afflictions and social/humanitarian ills. Without help, many will drift away into oblivion within society trapped within a vicious circle, and may die as a result, some by their own hands.

THE GOAL

FRESH START Social Service Agency is committed to providing professional social and humanitarian service support for men, women, children and others who suffer from all different types of humanitarian and social afflicitions and ills. By working with local and state direct case agencies, and having faith in God, we will help willing individuals who require help, need help, and have identified and admitted to themselves that they need help. With God's help and our help, the result will be men and women becoming more beneficial and productive to themselves, their families, friends and the communities in which they live and work.

THE TEAM
The support team and staff of Fresh start is composed of men and women of devout faith, belief in God and Christ, and compassion for others and all of humanity. They devote their lives and efforts to assisting those in need who are, have been, and appear that they will be afflicted with social and humanitarian ills. The FRESH START staff and support team utilizes its skills, abilities and resources, as well as suggesting other resources which will be useful in providing the proper and appropriate social and humanitarian services to those in need..

TRAINING AND EDUCATION

Various life skills, along with training and ecuation are ongoing within our Agency and Staff, and discussed and taught as part of ourorganizational program. We also encourage and assist staff, intake agents, volunteers and clients in furthering their education by completing skills training and certification, continuing education courses, and college courses based on their goals and interests.
PATRICIA CROCKER

PAT CROCKER, A NATIVE OF INDIANA, MOVED TO FLORIDA TO HOPEFULLY START A NEW LIFE AND ENJOY THE NUMEROUS DAYS OF VITAMIN "C" FLORIDA SUNSHINE; BUT THAT WAS NOT TO BE.  PAT HAD APPLIED FOR SOCIAL SECURITY DISABILITY NUMEROUS TIMES BEFORE DECIDING TO MAKE THE PERMANET MOVE TO FLORIDA.  HER ILLNESSES FINALLY GOT THE BEST OF HER AND PAT DECIDED THAT SHE NEEDED HELP; THUS A CALL TO FRESH START FOR HELP.  FRESH START RECEIVED PAT AS A CLIENT IN APRIL 2008 AND THE ARDUOUS AND HARD ROAD AND JOURNEY TOWARD NORMALCY THROUGH ELIMINATING THE ROOT CAUSE OF PAT'S PROBLEMS BEGAN.  IN NOVEMBER 2008, PAT FINALLY RECEIVED A LETTER FROM SOCIAL SECURITY INDICATING THAT SHE WAS DISABLED AND WOULD RECEIVE BENEFITS IMMEDIATELY.  CONGRATULATIONS PAT! A LOT OF HARD WORK, SWEAT, TEARS, PATIENCE AND PRAYERS WENT INTO THE "TEAM" EFFORT BETWEEN FRESH START, SOCIAL SECURITY ADMINISTRATION, THE ADMINISTRATIVE LAW JUDGE, AND FROM PAT HERSELF.  WE HOPE AND PRAY THAT PAT'S LIFE WILL CONTINUE TO BE SUCCESSFUL AND MAY THE LIGHT OF GOD CONTINUE TO SHINE UPON HER!
