Andrea Corr has been elected as one of FHM 100 Sexiest Women In The World 2000. This result came from FHM.COM polling and Andrea has been put at 28th position. They choose the American singer Jennifer Lopez as The Sexiest Women In The World and here's 'the big eight' listing:

The Corrs won the 'Best Group Award' at the Singapore Radio Music Awards on June 18th, 2000. They were up against Westlife, Backstreet Boys, N'Sync and Vengaboys.

June 17th, 2000
The Corrs will be visiting Asia and possibly Australia in July and America in August or September for promotional work. Do they come to Indonesia ? We're not sure yet but we will inform you once dates become official.
The video for the bands new single 'Breathless' has now been received by MTV throughout the world and it could start appearing on the TV at any time. Keep watching your MTV...

We're not get the confirmed information about Indonesian 'In Blue' release date. But in Europe, the album is still on course for release on July 14th, 2000 with the exception of France, Norway, Germany and the UK where it will be released on July 17th, 2000. The American release date is still a bit uncertain but September 19th, 2000 is fair guess.
The official 'In Blue' tracklisting is as follows:

The Corrs are nominated for Best Group in 'Singapore's 1st annual Radio Music Awards' up against Westlife, Backstreet Boys, N'Sync and Vengaboys on June 18th, 2000. More info can be found at http://www.rcs.com.sg/radiomusic/.
The Corrs will perform at the 'Music Without Frontiers' show that closes Euro 2000 Closing Ceremony in Rotterdam on July 1st, 2000. A great number of other international artists will appear, including Lionel Richie, Andrea Bocelli & Lara Fabian.

May 28th, 2000
The Corrs will attend the the celebration party for the '23rd anniversary of The Hot Press Magazine' in Dublin's Hall Of Fame on Monday the 29th of May. Among other artists known to attend are U2 and Van Morrisson.

The Corrs are to attend the third IFPI Platinum Europe Awards on July 13th, 2000 at Hotel La Plaza in Brussels. The Platinum European Awards honour musicians who have sold over 1 million albums in Europe, a total of 82 million-selling albums qualified for Platinum Europe Awards in 1999 and of those 82, The Corrs had 3 albums that qualified, so on the night they should pick up awards in respect of these albums. Up to the end of 1999 Talk On Corners had sold over 5 million copies in Europe, Forgiven Not Forgotten over 2 million and Unplugged over 1 million, even though it was only released in November 1999.

The new single 'Breathless' is from today set to receive airplay on radio stations around Europe. It is said to be premiered in Europe on 2FM in Dublin at May 24th, 2000 between 5:00pm and 7:00pm. Try to listen online at http://www.rte.ie/2fm/.

LONDON (Reuters) - The Irish rock band The Corrs became the voice of the European music industry in the battle to stamp out piracy and protect artists copyright in the new digital age. They are taking over the role from French composer Jean-Michel Jarre.

The Corrs won the award for 'London's Favourite International Group' at the London Awards ceremony in the Royal Lancaster Hotel. Congratulations.
'So Young' is included on the soundtrack for the new movie titled 'Where The Heart Is' starring Natalie Portman, Ashley Judd, Stockard Channing and Joan Cusack.

The Corrs nominated for the award 'London's Favourite International Group' against The Backstreet Boys, Boyzone and TLC at Capital FM's London Awards.

The new album is set for release in the UK on Monday 10th July 2000.
The first single off the Corrs new album will be titled 'Breathless' and the provisional release date in the UK is Monday 26th June 2000.

For the third year in a row The Corrs are set to perform at the Party In The Park festival on July 9 in London, UK.
